Not sure what UPS is like but it's
Clock in
15 minute break after 2:30 work
Then
Lunch after 2:30 work
15 break after 3:00 of work
Then finish the last two hours

I worked at both places so..
Ups < Amazon < Other

Yeah, I'm sure being an orderly in an inner city hospital cleaning up blood and human waste is a great job. Same with working construction holding a Stop/Slow sign on a highway when it is 95 degrees out and 140 on the pavement is a great job.

I don't, because they aren't any different than any other generation's options. Some people will get lucky and strike it rich with little effort, but most people will have to have special skills to make it. And, that is after they start at the bottom and work their way up.

Cost of living is very low and you'll make enough money to get ahead and start saving, plus you'll get the usual insurance bullshit you think you can't live without which probably keeps you at Amazon in the first place. Worked in a private owned slaughter house for 4 years. Loved it, my boss took great care of us even during winter seasons when business was always down. Now I drive truck at another nonunionized place, love it even more.

Harder to lose them at work / have them stolen if they are in your car. I lock mine in my desk every morning and might carry a dollar or two around if I want to buy a soda.

Also stops people from asking for money. I've had a few people give me sob stories or ask to buy a raffle ticket while I'm at work. Makes it easy for me to say no to loaning the guy $5 to help him buy a meal after he gets done smoking.
