Lil Nas X and OP is a nig.
>Lil Nas X
No
Slick Rick
garbage
Kendrick Lamar
Kanye West>anybody in the game
But Nas is pretty good.
Lil dicky
Slick Rick
Pharoahe?
hard to beat nas overall but I'm a huge fan of kool Keith
totally different styles though
ur right. He'll never live up to this legend.
Eminem rap god. Until he dies there will never be better.
Eminem was good in his prime, but the problem was that he continued rapping and never evolved his style at all
his flow is literally the same its been for 15+ years, and it just becomes boring
kanye west is one of the greatest producers of all time and will go down as one of the most influential artists of this generation
but he's far from one of the best rappers of all time.
>>
any rap is scheit
Yes hes better than your old boom bap shit boomer. Nas only had one good album and that's what OP posted
AZ> Nas
Kool Keith, but Lil Xan is a close 2nd
Vanilla ice
vanilla nice
basically everything Kanye did is gold until he picked up a microphone
This
>Nas only had one good album
this is objectively untrue
> that's what OP posted
but he didn't post illmatic OR stillmatic so.... pretty sure you've never listened to a single nas song
DoB
This
I was so sure he was gonna post an album in early 2019 since he follows the same release schedule as Tyler, an album every two years
I still think k.dot is the most technically proficient and lyrically interesting rapper recently, but I can't say I won't lose interest if he doesn't put a project out soon.

Rob Sonic and Aesop Rock = Hail Mary Mallon
>aesop rock
brofist
Aesop is the best rapper right now imo
I like the older more esoteric stuff, even though it lacks a more polished production quality like his newer work. Labor Days and Float are legendary.
No he's not you edgy bastard. He has like 3 good bars on illmatic and none on IWW.
Yeah I remember first time I heard "Kill em all" on def jux promo. I saw him back in the 90s with el-p and a bunch of Cincinnati and St.Paul rappers, slug, lone catalyst, etc. I am glad he polished up starting with None Shall Pass, kind of gives the older stuff even more raw and classic feel. I love Impossible Kid.
None Shall Pass is great. My brother sold his car with my CD in it and I bought it again, so that alone says something.
Motion Man and Jacky Jasper
DJ Quick.
King Los
Next question?
It wasn’t initially a question you pretentious douche.
Aesop Rock
My guys
Who is better in your opinion?
Who??
Better than Nas, there are many, you didn't even pick the best Nas.
"Illmatic" had the best Nas on it, all later albums were an attempt to recapture the freshness and dynamism of it, he peaked early but produced a solid body of work.
Vanilla Ice is the greatest rapper in history.
A better rapper than Nas? Dude take your pick. I can't sit here and literally list every rapper I can think of.
>Illmatic" had the best Nas on it,.....
>Vanilla Ice is the greatest rapper in history.
I don't see that it wasn't, sure seems like a question only missing a punctuation. Nice try tho.
Exactly, maybe look into him. You'll like what you find.
Anyone else.
Vanilla Ice produced many fantastic albums and his work is a credit to all white rappers everywhere... do you even sarcasm bro?
>Illmatic" had the best Nas on it,.....
Nas is good with words, shame about you brah, do you even English?
Kanker op
Anyone have anything else? Others I’d recommend are
Astronautalis

Your Old Droog

Most of y’all probably already heard of them though.
Get fucked idiot
Also, trips.
Solid choice.
Old Kanye maybe, but his new stuff is lackluster IMO
This. He got wack when he became sober.
RIP. Man's a legend.
Aesop is dope! Kind of forgot about him until you mentioned him. About to listen to his stuff again.
Underrated imo, one of the better rappers as of recent
I think Joey Badass is better than Nas, but that's not discrediting him.
Great reply good sir.
I don't agree. He isn't even the best rapper out right now, not even the best conscious rapper out right now. Joyner Lucas is. Kendrick Lamar has pretty average rhymes, his flows consist of making weird voices and with his lyricism he fails to paint a bigger picture about the issues he talks about and just whines about some shit.
i licky boom boom down
I think DAMN was a good album, but obviously fucking pandering to the black community when he won the Pulitzer Prize.
I'm still unsure about his new direction, Impossible Kid was good, but Skelethon set a really high bar. I get the impression he tried to be more accessible on IK and it felt like nothing hit as hard as Tetra or Cycles did.
Still one of the greatest discogs of all time, my ex got to interview him once and I was super jealous.
Beck
Skelethon was my jam all 2013-2014.
I wasn’t sure about this Malibu Ken venture he was on. The lyrics seem to be attracting an SJW following which make me question if he’s losing it.
Guardin
Big L and maybe Biggie
Surely you can name one?
was scrolling through waiting to see this. based user
Heath Bars and Snickers are pretty good rappers. They make you want to get inside and taste that sweet sugar
Even Nasir would agree. youtube.com
He was pretty good but he hasn't made any good music in 25 years
Prodigy, Havoc, Biggie, everyone from wu tang, 2pac, ... the list goes on
These dudes were the shit and still are
