His view: Good propaganda should be allowed because it allows good things to happen. Bad propaganda should also be allowed because Americans have the "good sense" to know the difference. In other words, sophistry. Propaganda would no longer be allowed to be called out for what it was and it was allowed to masquerade as news as a form of free speech as long as it was registered in the FCC as "entertainment" and not "news". Those registered as "news" can be sued for misinformation, lies, etc... unless they stop saying it or retract the story. Those in "entertainment" are not under such restrictions. Most people follow "entertainment" nowadays as if it was news... propaganda-dominated masses, most USA people don't bother (or don't know) to fact check. Check out the sources on the FCC, most registered as "news" fall under what propaganda victims call "fake news". All of them believe Journalistic Integrity is a myth... most of them believe science is a political debate. Propaganda is accepted as fact, akin to how the Dark Ages accepted religion as a fact over developing truths.

I think currently society is in the transition of bringing the left and the right together into some kind of workable synthesis. Depends where you're looking. If you take the middle east or parts of Africa as an example, America's right wing is actually left-of-center. They don't kill gays, there are no "honor killings", women are allowed to be educated and aren't subject to the will of their male relatives, and being non-religious isn't a death sentence.
If you're specifically referring to Eurocucks, then fine. They're farther left than most Americans.

Unpopular opinion but, people have always been extreme. But with the growth of social media, more people can now voice their extremism. It is more visible. People are allowed to indulge in various degeneracies on a scale hitherto undreamt of. This began around 2008, with the proliferation of smart phones, thus allowing people to be cringy wherever they currently occupy space, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It’s like alcohol, technology in its current form takes away our inhibitions, allowing our truest selves to shine through the murky veil that shrouds our society. If I were you, I would travel back to 2005 and warn everyone of what you have seen.
