that almost looks like a damn red tail, Any guesses on length and width? would offer alot of help with identifying.

Its tail end was under some brush so I couldn't get a good look, but from what I saw it was upwards of 3-4 feet

Rat snake? Honestly, I'm going with my first guess, That's someones pet red tail boa with a darker tint. The head points to it along with the shape of the marks.

That there is a python. It was probably a pet at some point. Kill it 'fore it breeds.
