But it is only relative to a certain extent. If you took LSD and 4 hours passed when you only felt 30 mins that was only induced due to the drug. It's the reason history has an objective chronology and we're able to use other indicators such as rocks to denote the passage of time besides humans. It isn't dependent on consciousness.

One does not produce the other, time is a phenomenon. Consciousness is a phenomenon. Whether one can exist without the other can't be known because all human reality is subjective to the immersion in both. My best guess is they emanate from the same source and are co-causal.
