Yes I grew up in Berlin. In Steglitz to be precise which is a rather green and more expensive district.

Oh yeah I used to go out and drink a lot. There was this hardrock/biker/punk bar in Neukölln which I used to frequent. Cheap beer, shitty music but one hell of a place. Frequent bar fights, pool and darts. Left a lot of money, blood and puke there. Shit was cash. But it closed down in 08. Bummer. Never found a place like it again.

I don't go into faggy clubs, just not my thing.

But sitting at a lake and drinking with friends is still a thing too.

It's more like that a lot of bars offer food too. Usually nothing too fancy though. Make sure to check out Kottbusser Tor for a lot of street food and shady as fuck people.
