This, ended probably as solid as they could have.
In retrospect Dany was just a tool used to break the wheel, she was never fit to rule.
At least Jon FINALLY acknowledged Ghost in the end... He's such a good boy!
Thoughts on GOT ending?
10/10
Pretty much up there with Breaking Bad
Imagine being THIS much of a gayboy
it was good.
It was pretty long and boring..
Just boring, the writers had no balls. Daenerys getting killed was expected, Bran becoming king was the dullest possible outcome. There should have been a power struggle over the throne, I would have had Jon win but kill a few more people ruthlessly to secure power, then get killed by Tyrion or Arya, something extremely unexpected with morally gray justifications.
Also, Arya who has almost zero experience sailing is sailing across the Sunset Sea. I think the only mention of that not ending in everyone disappearing was in the Fire and Blood book, where the ship built for it was found in Asshai, but that was an experienced crew and insanely specialized ship, so Arya is probably dead. The Unsullied are heading to Naath, where there's a disease that kills anyone not native to the island. Some of the Unsullied were from the island, but most will die a horrible death from disease soon after arriving. Really just lazy on the show writer's part, particularly with the Unsullied. It isn't like they don't know the books very well, I guess they just correctly assumed most people wouldn't give a shit.
Underrated post as i just started watching chernobyl too
He had the potential to be one of the more interesting characters. Like if he made dany or the mad king by mistake or something. Instead he knew this whole time... WTF??
