You want to grow some tomatoes and cucumbers, but your back yard is visible from the side street, so it's deemed unseemly.
And then you're put on a big project at work, so you have to leave before dawn, and you return long after dark starting Monday, and things aren't finished so you have to keep working like that through the weekend, until the following Friday. Two rain storms mean your grass grows a bit more quickly than normal, but you can't mow because you're getting home, quite exhausted, after quiet hours begin. So two weeks later you're given a thousand dollar fine for your grass being more than two inches high.
Then one weekend you're working outside and your garage is open, but it's messy so you get another fine.
Then your brother visits you on a weekend, and parallel parks his truck along the curb so the boat fits in the driveway. HOA crew comes by, and you get another fine.
Three strikes. Your home is foreclosed on because you've violated the terms of the HOA. They get to sell it out from under you, and you've got to find somewhere else to live.

I get what you're getting at and also get that your going to extremes to point out plot holes. And while you are correct, it's against an incomplete argument that in the 20 second it took to write it I did not consider all the possible ways for Murphy's law to take place and how to "keep it simple stupid" (protect idiots from finding loopholes). I assure you if I were writing laws instead of Yea Forums comments I would take more than 20 seconds to formulate a sentence that would not allow such loopholes.
But to answer- the gist of society is to protect others from others so we can all get along and progress, so seeing as you're impeding something society uses, that goes against what society is about. This isn't some moral abortion-esque issue either. Everyone can agree that blocking a street is impeding. You're objectively in the wrong for pulling that off.
There's a while balance of morals when you do this kinda crap, and sometimes you gotta pick which outweighs the other. They can both be good, but one is better. Seeing as society is the whole reason both we and the flag are here, that gets the upper hand.
