Alex jones was sued for his crazy conspiracy spewing (by some people who he actually mentioned, like sandy hook victims) and in court he pretty much said that "it's all an act. That crazy conspiracy guy is just an artist persona I created, I'm not really believing any of this stuff. It's just an act I do because people are willing to pay for it."
He's been very quiet ever since. I guess they got him by the balls and really could ruin him if they wanted. So they forced some "stop your bullshit or we'll fuck you up" -settlement.

Apple removed all podcasts associated with Jones from its iTunes platform and its podcast app. On August 13, 2018, Vimeo removed all of Jones' videos because they "violated our terms of service prohibitions on discriminatory and hateful content"
Jones' accounts have also been removed from Pinterest, Mailchimp and LinkedIn.

It's a definition issue. We still don't know if the websites you listed or Publishers or not. It hasn't been clearly defined in the emerging law.
But should the view be adapted that such websites are in fact publishers. Hosting jackasses like Alex Jones exposes them to Legal liability. Given his defamation of character of people.

I think all of this kinda just makes him realize that the gig is up. He had a thing going on, spouting crazy conspiracy entertainment for either those who are genuinely crazy or for those who just laugh at it. Doesn't matter.
He gets some ad revenue and some small business out of it, and that keeps him self-employed.
However, he takes it too far. He developes his crazy conspiracy theorist persona way too far. He goes full retard with pizzagate stuff and way-too-deep-end baby-blood-drinking-hillary stuff and people really start to get angry at him. He is starting to hurt other people, like the guy who had to move several times after Jones branded him "disaster actor" and crazies started going after him. So the lawsuits start coming.
Now, it's no longer profitable. All major media outlets have banned him, he has trouble getting his "merchandise" out to his "customers".
So now I think he knows that it's no longer a viable product. Time to look for other ways to do business. I wouldn't put it past him to become like a preacher-type religious guy for some mega-church. Preach how he was a conspiracy theorists before he saw the light of Jesus or something.
