1. He's the one that made the divorce public (before she made her tweets), despite wanting to keep things under wraps. A public announcement guarantees that questions will be asked.
2. He announced the divorce, but didn't have the official papers beforehand. Declaring the divorce before it happened feels odd, especially with a four-day gap.
3. Holly made a tweet stating that she didn't do anything before she went private. His response confirms that she was lying, which she almost definitely is not happy with.
4. He claims to have evidence but won't show it because he wants the moral high ground. After the week he's had, I don't see that being a wise decision.
5. He never addressed the photos or any of the stuff involving his fans. Considering the legal ramifications, it probably should have been a priority.
6. It took him nine days to make a response, even having time to tweet last Friday like nothing was wrong.
TL;DR he could be telling the truth, but the context of the response is suspicious as hell.
