Nah, 4K actually works well for vidyas. Whenever you render live graphics, you get aliasing. Even the best AA in the world doesn't look as good as true 4K. 8K might get rid of some minor artifacts like the glitter effect on some textures, but we're well past the point of diminishing returns.

Some people are more sensitive to this than others. Most people don't notice a big jump from 720p to 1080p but I can tell a massive difference from 720p to 1080p and from 1080p to 4K, they all look considerably different to me. Yes 1080p looks really good so maybe not a massive difference from 4K but it is absolutely a noticeable improvement.

I guess. I agree there's a lot of shit out there, but I dig a few modern games. Days Gone is fucking great. Glitchy, but when it works, it's a blast. I actually liked GTAV story mode. RDR2 was great. The RE2 remake was pretty fun. I just got MK11, but haven't had time to try it yet. Hopefully it's decent, I only got it because they finally got Baraka back in.

This is about the difference between a single display and the capability of the video rendering engine.

A large screen receives a single stream of video data. Multiple screens process segments of the fill video stream. The size of your matrix of displays may depend on the limitations on the encoding protocol or the multiplexer if the stream is being decoded in a master-slave scenario. Each display is ultimately responsible for rendering that stream as quickly and accurately as possible, so the higher the video resolution on a display, the greater the challenge to faithfully render that stream.
