WuTang is one of the most influential groups in all of musical history not just limited to the realm of hip hop.
Seriously thinking about it, 25 years after their debut there will never be a group of 10 guys who get together and make a platinum album and then go solo bringing in 10 gold albums. They really are the black Beatles but even better considering they have more strength in nunbers and still tour today. I am glad I got to see them perform live, it was special for me.
That's only because talent is no longer a factor in determining who sells records

>wu-tang forever x9 I loved Wu-Tang but the problem is they are totally dated now with the exception of a few 'oldies'. They brought white people into rap in a big way because they touched on so many themes relevant and cool to 80s babies/gen x and early-millennials, and surely they we're dope as fuck, better than tupac and big imho, but maybe because they also appealed to the pseudo intellectual white boi and nigga alike (although by all accounts they had a lot more organized connections than both those dead niggas). but their music just hasn't been very relevant in this decade. they should be in the the rock n roll hall of fame tho, and i'd go as far to say they did a lot for racial harmony in the 90s.
also for some reason remembering which members of the clan were who really helped me with my racial recognition skills and i feel like a lot of LEOs can relate to this and it kinda blew back on them but nobody wants to talk about it
only newfags count cappadonna and even a newfag might argue ugod was not a member of wutang by the time cappadonna was so still 9 members
Austin Brown
You are legit retarded because you don't know the history. Cap was called original and was there since the earliest. U god is official literal blood. newfags usually argue MK because he only had one verse on the 36 and was sparce throughout. Get outta here noob
And cap sold a gold album so you might want to stfu

>doesn't matter wasn't on 36 chambers by your logic there are a lot of affiliates that should be wu-tang members, but what you're talking about is wu-tang's vain efforts to re-imagine themselves in the 21st century
Jeremiah Phillips
You are an ant among giants dude. Their music will live and you will die user incel
Brody Allen
>not just limited to the realm of hip hop
nobody cares about your chimp noise
Joseph Nguyen
the smartest thing the members did was how they set up their recording contract as the wu-tang clan and could still negotiate contracts for their solo work under different labels
Matthew Jenkins
>wasn't even an adolescent in the 90s >didn't even live in nyc cool story, bro
>wu tang isn't international >wu tang isn't for the children >thinking cappacino isn't OG official you are severely mentally challenged.
Bentley Hall
Settle this over a cypher

lmao I don't have hardcore bars like that besides user probably spits hot fiya. I do know a lot more about the WTC than he does though, so he looks real dumb shitting up my thread with his posts

Wu Tang Clan is iconic for being iconic. I liked rap in the 90s, but I can't think of a single thing they did. Only thing I remember about them is beating MC Hammer on some weird MTV award show, for 'Largest Posse'.
Xavier Murphy
that seems odd that you would associate wu tang with some random MC hammer thing but not remember much else. maybe you are just another fake fan?
Liam Baker
