Difference is all of the channel awesome scandal was little more than that they were crap management, which makes sense considering they were nothing more than early youtubers who got lucky. The only "dirty" part of it was them accidently revealing that Jewario was a creep...but in that reveal showed that as soon as they had an accusation, went to their legal team then folllowed that advice precisely, making it one of the few things they did right. Not to mention then revealed that some of the people attacking channel awesome knew about jewario but didn't even tell their "friends" like Marzgurl who did tribute videos to him. Thus proving they were just as shitty as the company they hated so much.

ProJared on the other hand flat out cheated with his wife and intentionally used his fame to trick people into sending nudes under the false pretense of "body positivity" and even knowing some were underage where proof of this has been provided.

Having said that it won't matter much in the long run. He's too big to need to look for money elsewhere. He'll go quiet for a while then occasionally release videos and specifically avoid any and all mention of the situation. People will of moved on to the next youtube drama at that point and most people who'll come across him at that point won't know about, nor care enough to not subscribe/watch new content from him.
Jontron literally pulled the "blacks are genetically inferior in intelligence" lines, yet not only wasn't banned by youtube but after being quiet for a while, releases occasional videos that are in the millions of views.
Outside of things being viral, most people don't care about behind the scenes shit. Who has time to look at the life and views of everyone involved in each individual piece of media they consume in order to check it passes their "morality" check, especially if it doesn't feature in that media?
