Thanks for what? Are you expecting someone to buy this for you or some shit?

For any opinions on the build. I expect that I have to buy it myself. Too bad

get a i9 cpu.

i7 is outdated

autism

extra 50$ for 15% more speed and efficiency. also a newer model.

your cpu cooler is fucking shit

>newer model
hahahahaha I bet you buy an iphone every year too

I heard that the i9's are a trap for some reason?

This is in no way a trap.

>ROG Strix
I heard they catch fire.

In some way it is. If you really need a lot of CPU power, you just buy a Threadripper. If you do not, an i7/Ryzen7 is enough.

Literally been one day since last exploit was found in Intel cpu. Are you retarded OP?.

People who build this kind of machine don't have personal or important data outside of their phone. They reinstall windows by hand to fix their games.

The 9900K performs way better than the 16-core Threadripper in several applications, such as Adobe After Effects and Blender. The 9900K demolishes the 2950X in any workload that involves AVC/HEVC encoding/decoding.

>These are the specs I have in mind.

in a couple years it will be obsolete.
and your ears will be rekt because the fuckin "silent fans" are everything but silent.

also, you will find out you wasted an insane amount of kilowatts

>TLDR: getting 20% more CPU power and costing 800+ watts and 25+ decibels

>kilowatts
How much is that in more SSDs?

Yes, I built a computer not too long ago. AMD Ryzen 1700, though I wish I had gotten the 1700x. 16gb PC2400 ram. GeForce GTX 1050ti. It's nice and good. Playing sekiro in max settings while recording my gameplay in HD on the same comp and not so much as a hiccup in the many hours I've been playing. Not so bad. No.

Still haven't decided? u posted this awhile back too

As if i care about electricity bills when buying setups like this lul, thanks for the input tho.

>wasting 3 grands on a gaming rig
>in 2 years it will be painstakingly obsolete and will have wasted a couple grands extra in electricity bills

27 months ago I bought a fanless KabyLake i5 7200U for less than 350 bucks, including 16Gb. Added a spare Crucial SSD and a couple full HD monitors.

It requiress less than 5 watts (excluding monitors) when idle. Barely tops 40 watts when rebuilding a Linux kernel and watching youtube.

When I'm not typing nor clicking mouse keys, it's totally silent.

>TLDR: gaming is a waste.

Lga 2066 motherboards cost a lot morr

212 evo isnt that good anymore, its a budget cooler. Get a higher end noctua or bequiet or something, also what is the latency of the ram, 3200mhz is good if its c15 but terrible if its c20, and which corsair power supply. Some are good, but cx arent great. I would rather get the seasonic m12ii 620 on amazon than the cx 750 even for that rig

checked quads
i'm using a 212 evo with a 9700k, temps never go above 45c

Have you tried turning the rig on?

Intel is gay, AMD is king

i guess youre running that thing on stock speed and checked the temp on idle.

lol agreed
