Use the camera app and get up close if you're really ballsy. I wouldn't however and use a background recorder app. Can creep so much easier with the screen off so it not suspicious. Black leggings are hard it's all about getting close, the angle you're shooting and most importantly lighting. O

Black leggings are so hard to capture in room lighting, especially if they're matte, they just absorb the light.
Best shots are always outside when there's loads of light shining on them, then they become see-through almost and can see VPL.
Ideally you'd want a camera that has a decent sensor that can take in a lot of light very quickly, and something with image stabilisation so when you do take a pic or video it's not so blurry
