It is not the number of pieces, it is the number of cuts that determine the time, as well as the shape and type of cuts. If you're cutting into 3 equal pieces, then the total time will take 3/2 the time it takes to make two cuts of the same length. If first cutting the initial board into two halves, and then cutting only one of those halves, turning it into two quarters, then the initial cut will require double the time it takes to cut only one half of the board once more.

I think of people as being transistors in the CPU of society that's running some sort of code. Much like the atoms came together to form molecules, the molecules to form aminoacids, the aminoacids to DNA, the DNA to cells, the cells to organs, the organs to individuals - the individual will become part of the society.
But our society is retarded with silly laws that only benefit single individual people or small groups of people. When they are gone we can work on being fulfilled in the physical world, setting us free in the information world. I figured all of this and much much more out by being high in a forest for a few years. I had to rationalise a lot of shit and this "why am i here" was early shit.
