I'm glad i'm born in the 80s because i actually got to know those times where nobody could film you. You actually had to go through your friend's parents when calling them. Porn was so rare it was pretty irrelevant. Girls weren't dressing as sluts. People were acting dumb and natural. Skateboards had different shapes. There was pretty much nothing to do at night except reading or sleeping. No internet. No fucking social medias. I could go on and on about how it was so much healthier for the mind.

Fully agree. It's hard to solve or advance anything when it is team vs team and no compromise can happen because there is no reasonable opportunity for discussion. If it's all win or lose, it's all win or lose. That's fine for sports, not so good with competing ideas in a representative democracy.
