Not sure if this has been posted yet. But, can we talk about how homosexuality is being introduced to children’s cartoons?
Recently Arthur had an episode where two men got married. Somehow, I feel kinda upset about it. At the same time I’m not sure if it’s something I should worry about.

My argument is why we should have any kind of scenes of any relationship in these cartoons.
Literally doesn't matter. Some idiots will tell you it's amazing and groundbreaking. Others will tell you it's proof of a Jewish plot to control the world. The fact is, being gay is just becoming more normalized in media, and children's media has already had other "normal" homosexual relationships. Did they HAVE to make the Arthur character gay? Not really. Was there an "agenda" to making him gay? In as much as "corrupting society" of course not, though it's not impossible that they knew they'd get praised by liberal media outlets for being sooo inclusive and progressive in the age of DRUMPF.
I think you feel upset about it because it's weird to imagine kids doing "gay" stuff. This is probably because homosexuality is viewed as more inherently sexual than heterosexuality as the latter is the biological and societal norm. Thus, it rings similar alarm bells in you to if they had a character with a bikini. But there's nothing inherently "sexual" about two men marrying, anymore than there's something inherently "sexual" about a man marrying a woman.
Honestly I think it should be introduced in the more 'mature' shows, not things like Arthur. Kids shouldn't be concerned about sexuality until they're much older, at least in their teens.
