the point of a transition is that when you're done, people think you are the sex you want to be. the trans people I know don't identify as trans, they identify as male or female because they've made the effort of becoming that gender. what's the point of a transition if you run around telling everyone you're not actually the gender you want to be? that'd only worsen your gender dysphoria.
