the ASVAB isn't like a standard scholastic test. correct answers are important, but simply answering the question is too. say a portion of the test has 100 questions. person A answers 79 questions before time runs out and only 70 of the questions are correct. person B answers all 100 but only 60 are correct. person B will receive a higher score.

In all of the fields, there is a golden ticket job to a solid civilian career provided you get the right MOS experience. Do your research once your shithead recruiter presents your options. Fuck whatever opinions he has. As long as he fills a billet, his job is done. If you don't like your options, wait a month and come back. Job openings come in every cycle. Don't pull the trigger too fast on such a significant life decision.

I scored in there 99th percentile on every category besides auto mechanics and recruiters would not leave me the fuck alone.

Those are percentile scores relative ti OPs score. So really, men are scoring higher in every category. It's probably because more intelligent men go into the army than intelligent women. Makes sense.
