The supposed 'massacre' at Kings Landing has been over exaggerated.

Kings Landing population statistics show no major decrease in population between TWOTFK and after Dany's invasion. Yet apparently a million died?

Furthermore, it's logistically impossible for that many people to be burnt to a crisp. The largest dragon-fire streaks could only burn 200 people at a time, and this took a minute to do it. If you do basic math, this means that it would take 3.5 days to cremate that many bodies. This is flat out laughable, as everybody knows Dany only took a day to conquer kings landing. At most, 100,000 - 150,000 people were burnt alive - not a million.

Even if we assume she could burn 400 at a time, it would still take almost 2 days.

Isn't it funny that the people of KL have used this supposed massacre to attack their political enemies and build up their own position?

The ballistas were only effective once because they used to element of surprise. They have horrible accuracy and are slow as fuck. Even in mass they are only mildly effective. The only reason they took out the dragon in the one episode was because the dragons were flying in a strait line.
