Can you use your mind control drugs to get my ex to take me back?

You mean entered apprentice

They’re interchangeable.

No, sorry :/

One bump

Always nice to see a fellow traveler.

You’re also a member? I’ve just started the process of petitioning, but my lodge is hurting for members so im in.

My question to you, have you had any benefits to your life from joining?

Not worried about all of those eyes?

That's awesome, congrats

So, you basically paid your way in? Sounds very exclusive, faggot.

Of all the possible cults to choose, why did you pick this one?

Not sure what you mean.

Thanks.

I didn’t say I paid. Petitioning is the word they use to describe the application process.

Because I know someone that’s a member which makes it possible to join. I also feel that my driving factor in life is discovery, and this is the one thing that makes discovery possible without being easily accessible on the internet.

Not a Mason, but was DeMolay.

My only experience was that our chapter "Dad" like to give some of the guys drugs and suck their dicks. He got found out and went to prison. Never approached me for that shit, but I remember some of my friends would talk about going over to his apartment to hang out. I insta-bailed as soon as it came out.

My poor dad must have felt fucking awful for introducing me to that and having that be the result.

My dad was a Mason, went through different periods of being into it throughout his life. At one point he was the target of a federal investigation and one of the people on the team was a Mason and made sure it was a righteous investigation (which he was ultimately exonerated from). So I guess that is one tangible benefit.

Later in life my dad got back into it seriously, and I thought about joining as a way to get closer to him, but I'm an Atheist and got stuck on the requirement to believe in a higher power.

He died a few years ago, and the Masons were great about helping with the funeral and stuff, and many of them came up to my mom and I and said they'd check in on her often. But none of them have followed through. Not a peep in over 5 years. So maybe that lodge just sucks, or...I dunno.

That's a pretty low bar. So if you knew someone from Westboro Baptist Church you'd join them just because you know someone?

Here is a post by a guy that goy expelled from the Masons for telling the truth about John Shirley (the guy who was molesting DeMolay boys).

So in some sense they are no better than the Catholic church.

That's Freemasonry. Lots of pretty words, no follow through.

Hmm, interesting. I’m mainly joining because of the benefits I may receive in my career, or life. Just like what happened with your father.

I’m an atheist as well, but I look at it as a fraternity that may offer some benefits with my future. To be honest I don’t give a fuck about the oaths, because I’m an atheist, hence why I’m making this post.

Kinda funny that your chapter’s “dad” (here they call it worshipful master) was a freak. Fuck that guy.

What’s a DeMolay? The Freemasons are the only “secret society” I’m familiar with.

No, I answered why I joined here.

I kinda feel this way too. Freemasonry is based on charity, but I can’t imagine myself feeling anymore charitable being a Freemason. Although I may make some close friends which is naturally be more charitable towards.

How does it feel to be a sheep following rules and instructions for a doctrine worse than fucking religion?

There is only one path for the truth, and you are far from it.

You're going to be disappointed as fuck if you think there's anything tangible in it for you. Warning you off of "mercenary motives" is one of the first things you'll hear when you walk through the door.

You're getting played, OP. You'll pay dues and never see any return. You say you're an atheist, but you're joining a religion. How fucking stupid can you be?

Do y'all worship a giant Owl God or am I getting you mixed up with some other cult

It's not a religion. Pretty much the furthest thing from a religion. It's a waste of time, but definitely not a religion.

Sure...

I don’t really care what they are. I’m in it for benefits. I’ll leave if I don’t see any.

You might be right, but I think every lodge is different.

No, every religion is accepted.

Yeah, it’s not a religion, but you must believe in a higher power to join. So I’m just lying n say I do.

You already drank the Kool Aide

Is this a confirmation or refusal of the Owl God? Really needin more information on his current whereabouts

DeMolay is like Masonry for young men.

>I’m mainly joining because of the benefits I may receive in my career, or life.

I agree you are going to be disappointed. I think you're likely to have more success joining a secret society like Scientology if you are looking to parlay it into career/life advancement.

I live near Clearwater, which is the world HQ for Scientology...these people builds businesses that then get a ton of customers because the company (or department) is run by a Scientologist. I interviewed at a software development company in Clearwater, and 95% of their customers were due to a Scientology relationship. They even had you take a Scientology assessment test as part of the interview process.

will you ride the goat?

devil asking

I have a dues card. You don't. I know, you hear rumors.

Fuck bro, I’d become a Freemason but Scientology is too far for me.

That’s interesting though, I wonder how many scientokogists join for that reason. I never knew that was even a factor.

From the looks of that first book I read in the OP, it seems to me that freemasonry used to have a lot of power in history but now has a dwindling population and is desperate to recruit new members.

Yes

Oooh, you have a card that says you pay money to be in a religion.
Legit.

I got pre approved for a Master Card. Am I an elite freemason now?

Whatever, if you insist on being ignorant I can't do much about that.

Freemasonry can be accessed through high levels of LSD use.

Sing me the praises of your religion. I need to be saved from my life of actually making it on my own without some secret handshake faggotry that's just a recruiting scheme to get your money. But hey, you get one of those cool rings if you pay enough.

Isn't everything?

Lol nice, high levels of lsd is sick

>I have this thing that tells me to pay money
Like a payday advance card or something? How nigger are you?

When you're done getting chewed up and spit out by your faggot club just remember that Yea Forums even told you how stupid you are for buying into that shit
