To be real (Yea Forums lol), I think you're only seeing the most outraged people of the LGBT community. All the gay people I know don't really take offense to jokes and take them in stride. It's only when conservatives say shit like "I'd drown my son if he turned gay" is when they get mad.
Same with my trans friends, the only people I see say "DID YOU JUST ASSUME MY GENDER?" are people who think they're being funny with their 'cutting' edge humor and trans people making fun of the first group.

More to add onto this, spend time outside echo chambers and observe what actual LGBT members say on Facebook pages. Yeah there is a lot to be pissed off about in the LGBT world, a large majority of the world and religions refuse to accept you, they can legally be discriminated against in a good amount of countries.
If you're curious do some reading instead of complaining about gays on a board where trap threads show up 87 times a day. May I recommend you start with LGBT rights in the United States on wikipedia.
