What is the path to enlightenment and next to godliness?
What is the path to enlightenment and next to godliness?
enlightment is bullshit
there is no path
god doesnt exist
God most certainly exists. It is silly to assume he doesn't.
for me, personally, it's doing what makes you happy. Spend your life enjoying what you do. You'll get good at it and become godly to your peers.
Enlightenment through dedication and passion. This is one path, yes. I wish you luck on your journey!
He's just a faggot who forgot his creation in a corner of the universe
Prove it.
This could very well be a possibility, but I wonder if he had any say in the creation of reality.
Out the infinite things our god (or gods) could be, not existing is only one of them.
Our perception of god is a man-made concept, yes. I propose a different concept of god. The universe (akin to mother nature) could be a conscious, living entity. The universe consists of everything, all life, all matter, including everything on earth. So that makes us part of the universe. We are a small part of the universe experiencing itself.
Why would i think the universe could possibly be conscious? It has no brain! well take a look at these two images comparing the known universe and some neurons not unlike those in your own brain.
We exist inside the brain of what many call god, and when we die we don't fade into nonexistence, we simply become one with the entity.
>not existing is only one of them
Then you're agreeing that it's possible for gods to not exist.
>well take a look at these two images comparing the known universe and some neurons not unlike those in your own brain.
That's fucking retarded. There's no electrochemical signals being transmitted in dark matter.
You are thinking within the context of known knowledge, take a step back and imagine what is unknown. Forms of matter you can't comprehend, an infinite amount of elements unknown to man, maybe even forces that are only active in specific parts of the universe.
All of theses unknowable factors can come together to make reality very vague and completely incomprehensible. Who's to say what is what in this chaos.
You can't make claims about the unknown dumbass. The fact of the matter is that the universe does not display signs of life, much less consciousness.
>Who's to say what is what in this chaos
We are.
This guy is as close to enlightenment as possible
There is no way to disprove it, nor is there anyway to prove it. In reality, it's just a thought. Something to make you think about your place in the universe. However, because we don't know everything, it is possible that anything could be true.
Things that are impossible cannot be true
Who can say what is impossible? 500 years ago it was impossible that the earth revolved around the sun. The reason things are "impossible" is because we think we know how reality works. Of course in science there is this endless cycle of discovery, ridicule, and eventual acceptance. This will happen again and everything we know about reality will be flipped upside down, what was impossible becomes possible, and there will have to be new theories tested.
>Who can say what is impossible?
Logic. Square circles are impossible. Married bachelors are impossible.
>This will happen again and everything we know about reality will be flipped upside down
You can't know that.
