Super Metroid. FF3. Chrono Trigger.

>Secret of Mana

Don't forget Secret of Evermore. The alchemy like magic system it used was so much cooler than MP based systems.

2nd, just don't expect to beat it super easy and don't let the internet ruin it with a walkthrough.

too hard? get good scrub.

Was pretty advanced for its time.
Also Flashback

you know, in japan it was called "Mother Nigga 2"

Since everyone is going to post old school RPGs and platformers, here's one. Jammit. It's an amazingly competitve basketball game. Find a buddy and transport six hours into the future in moments.

SNES is classic heres some of my favorites:
- yoshis island
- terranigma
- illusion of gaia
- castlevania 4
-super mario world
- earthbound
- all 3 donkey kong countries
- super metroid

Did anyone else ever play this game, one of my favorites.

Amazing game

Yeah pretty dope game
Also Aladdin

killer instinct

the snes game of that is super ghosts and goblins

Super Metroid is one of my all time favorite games on any system. I wasn't sure I'd like it because it starts off a bit slow and I hadn't heard anything about it but then I got into it and it's one of the best games I've played on any system.

Can't believe this game wasn't rated AO. I mean, I even saw Mario crucify christ when I played it.

Wrong, the NES was Ghosts and Goblins and the SNES was Super Ghouls and Ghosts.

Either way the Japanese title for the series was WAY cooler, Demon World Village.

I was just gonna post this, so yeah

You're goddamn right about that

That game was great. The claymation graphics were nice, too.

>SNES Classic released without having any arcade Shmups like R-Type 3 or Gradius 3

So sad

Truly.

Is it true the all star ports of the original trilogy lack soul?

Speaking of Snes Classic and shooting games, Star Fox 2 was pretty damn fun imo

The legend of zelda a link to the past
Earthbound
The Donkey kong country triology

In its day that thing was way ahead of the curve. Super Metroid was one of my favorite games, pretty much most of the games were worth playing.

What's funny is its processor only ran at half the speed of the genesis. It was all the extra shit it was capable of that made it what it was.

Good lineup

Patrician's choice

I was just playing donkey Kong. Pretty addictive man.

I called that the sag whip because you could let it hang and guys would run into it.

And people bitch about the Draw/Refine system of FF8.

>Brain Lord
Damn, glad SOMEONE remembers Enix before Square shat all over it.

Super Mario RPG

>goldeneye on snes
(no it’s not bait kid)

Attached: 5B74501C-54B8-4D3B-8CB9-8ABEBB5F8458.jpg (473x480, 57K)

Earthbound
Final Fantasy 2, 3 (4, 6 in Japan)
Starfox
Secret of Mana (If you're playing on an emu I recommend the entire SNES series)
Secret of Evermore
Chrono Trigger (An amazing title that everybody has played by now)
Donkey Kong Country 1/2/3 (Highly recommend 2, I liked 3 but it's hit or miss with a lot of people)
F-Zero
Mario Kart
Super Mario All-Stars
Super Metroid
Legend of Zelda: ALttP
Terranigma
Actraiser (Actraiser II kind of sucks imo though same may disagree--the controls are kind of poor making the game artificially difficult)
Super Mario RPG Legend of the Seven Stars
Yoshi's Island
Megaman X games
Castlevania
Bomberman
Illusion of Gaia
Final Fantasy 5 (if you're playing on an Emu otherwise grab one of the many legally translated copies (FFVA is fairly true to the original and the bonus dungeon is a nice bit of fun, if not pointless, extra content))
Breath of Fire 1/2 (2 is the better imo)

There's probably more but this is a good place to start.

oh yeah and
>Super
Smash TV
