I would like more games whose theme is about exploring and being generally contemplative (still with things to do, though).
Here's a list of what I've played so far:

The best in the lot is Painscreek, because it's more a detective simulator than just walking. That game had me write down a shitload of info just to figure things out, exhilarating experience. Carter was the most beautiful of all, quite insanely so, and the area is real, to boot. Wonderful esthetics, loved exploring. Esther is the one I liked least, needlessly obscure, literally nothing to do other than walk, but no regrets, it was still a unique experience and quite foreboding. Firewatch I finished last night, and I wish this fucker had been longer with several possible paths instead of just one, but it was highly enjoyable.

Maize is a more lighthearted version of those games, very simple "find then use the right item" puzzle system but it's an entertaining few hours if you read all the lore stuff
Well see I got it for free on PS4 but eh I really enjoyed it but it is definitely only playable 2 times. 1st time to experience the game and 2nd time to see what you missed the first time you played through.

Painscreek was really disappointing. So much running around for a key to get a key to get a paper that tells me about another key in a locker I need a code for in a basement I need another key for in a totally different house.
I get what they were trying to do with the idea of investigation, but they should have integrated an in-game notepad for note taking instead of running back to a house for any of the dozen codes or locations for who's house is where and what is there. Even being able to edit the map with labels. They wanted players to bring out paper and pencil. I just think they had unreal expectations and should have made it all part of the actual experience.
Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe people enjoy that idea, like drawing out puzzles from The Witness or paths back in the original Bard's Tale.
