Why doesn't anyone admit that endgame was a major let down...

I remember watching man of steel wondering if I just lost the ability to enjoy movies anymore. I realized later that movie was just terrible. The start was good, like wonder woman.

Ya, but endgame is not one of the high gross films of all time because they combined batman and superman on screen, but developed characters and stories from over decades long and executed it as flawlessly as could be.

Nah dude I definitely agree. Pretty unsatisfying. I liked it sure, but infinity war is far superior

Fortnite promoted the last movie. It's a thing. I'm happier to see video games in movies anyways. It's like House of Cards playing Call of Duty. No one complained about that.

Infinity war left endgame pretty predictable for the most part. They starved us of hulk but Thor was awesome. Then endgame takes hulk away and Thor. We didn't really get the epic battle we all craved. Just some time travel and tons of talking.

Idk I feel like they fucked Thor's character for the movie to have a laugh then threw in fortnight for the memes. Like why build him up in Ragnarok and infinity war just to make him a fat pussy

It wasn't a perfect movie for me, but I really enjoy it. Infinity War would have been a great place to end. Or end with the first half of endgame before Ant-Man comes back.

How about a movie just about dealing with losing 50% of the population and how you still put one foot in front of the other everyday despite unbearable loss?

It wasn't a terrible movie but they never delivered anything that we all wanted most. No epic hulk or Thor. I was expecting world breaker hulk

As a fat strong man suffering from depression for the past 5 years, I could relate. I thought the movie showed how loss affects people, some stay the same like cap, some get better like Hulk becoming whole, some lose themself like Thor, some become closer with people like Widow. It's one of the best deconstructions of a hero, in almost the most literal sense.

Also they killed off Loki no resurrections. They revived literally everyone in the X-Men movies.

I gave up on the MCU back in Phase 2. The last good movie they did was Winter Soldier.
