I flushed it out with warm water and tried drying it, but the insides are still wet even after leaving it out for 24 hours. Sticking a cloth into the holes does an ok job but I still fear there might be some moisture in it. Any better way to do dry it?
What about anti bacterial spray? How and where do I apply it?
Some people say you should put baby powder on it so it stays smooth. Is this true or just bullshit?

You can get one of these fish tank air pumps. They come with a silicon tube that you insert into the hole and let it run overnight. Since the air is flowing it dries the inside pretty quick.

Note alcohol is safe with silicon, but it can damage TPE. If that is a TPE item, use hydrogen peroxide instead. BUT, some dish soap mixed with water is all you really need.
