Only part I agree with is that everyone is waisting their time
the 'universe' is just a spread of matter from a point, into already existing space. For some reason scientists continue to perpetuate some notion that our 'universe' is some sort of container. There is no container in space, there is only infinite empty space in all directions, sometimes occupied by universes, galaxies, solar systems, stray rocks trillions of light years from their formative universes, and so on. A universe (that is, a group of matter that came from a central point) eventually starts to collapse in on itself, but won't again reach singularity big bang mass in any quick manner, as much of the matter from this universe will have travelled out beyond this forming singularity's gravitational pull by this time, and it will be dormant for the longest time, until stray matter from other universes has contributed enough mass for another big bang.
