what's your nutrient regimen like?

Been using general organics, half dose 2 times a week

Nitrogen deficiency

like the whole line or just certain things?

This. possible PH issues but most likely they arent getting the right nutes.

maybe you are watering too much

They have a kit that comes with like 8 different things.

i think it's likely some sulfur deficiency. What ph ranges you doing?

I boil the water to get any chlorine out, and ph the water to around 6.2
I really dont think so, I always wait till they are light. I'm pretty cautious about not watering too much

Looks like the leaf is burnt on the outer edges, maybe light is to bright. Also, could be ph balance is off. Good luck bro

Use bat poop as an additive to your soil mixture, it's pretty high in nitrogen.

Running LED at about 30" and its not the top leaves, more around the middle/lower sections

using happy frog soil btw

it is high or low leaves? new or old?

mid/low and older

sounds like nitrogen then,

Thanks for that chart!

no problem, if you're doing a soil/coco medium, you're doing a good runoff of water right?

I have always done half doses since the soil contains so many nutrients. When i water I typically have to dump the trays after if you get what i mean

those nutrients run out of that soil eventually. and that's good i always have heard 10% is a good run off. also the more run off you do the quicker generally the nutrients that came in the soil, leave. the thing is you need some nitrogen for bloom cycle(usually light amounts in bloom formula), but not too much or else you will get a nasty taste. just takes time to find your rhythm out.

yellow leafs can be caused by too much water or your soil density is off....the soil needs breathing room. also drainage issues

All of the leaves or just some?
If your using a flowering nutrient with low nitrogen this will happen if the whole plant is yellow your prob not enough nutrients...

You cant just take veg nutrients and cut them in half.

Use flowering nutrients at full strength and only water when the soil is dry make sure you flood them with 10% to 20% run off to flush the salts out and prevent them from building up. Salts will prevent nutrient uptake and stunt growth/yield.

I did just start the flowering part of the fertilizer, which has a bloom one

Plants are 2 months in, and drains good. Didnt "pack" the soil in so breathing room should be good

Your media should also be some type of peat mix (called soiless) promix bx and hp are good choices and allow run off and the roots to breathe

All were green, switched to 12/12 light on 5/3. Yesterday all the sudden had a few plants with a couple to 4-5 yellowing

wouldn't it be bio-thrive bloom? are you using the feeding chart?
oh one more thing OP, you should do some teas if you feel like doing a little extra for it

This is what im using
And ive been using half doses

foxfarmfertilizer.com/item/happy-frog-174-potting-soil.html

this is what im using

what do you mean do some teas?

Are you growing in a pot? Is it big enough for your plant?

If its only a couple thats normal if you switched to flowering nutrients... but id use full strength...

You can also prune of some the larger leafs on an ongoing basis so they dont take the nutrients from your buds/block light.

I usually do this as soon as I see them starting to yellow.

yes running 3 gallon pots

Last week just flush with water only before your done.

yes i knew about that, thanks.
Pic is from about 3 weeks ago but to get an idea of my setup - the one in the center is a couple weeks behind the rest which is why its elevated

Attached: IMG_8543.jpg (3264x2448, 1.71M)

Thats fine prob overkill if your using liquid nutrients in tour water though

Ok will give full strength a shot. a couple times i did full early on, and got some tip burn so i cut it back. Guy at store i get my supplies from recommended using half dose based on the soil i was using, and they were repotted about a month ago

Id trim some the yellow leafs off... for that matter a bunch of your undergrowth to allow more light in and get the nutrients to where ut matter instead of the water leafs using it all

by now you should have worked up more than just half strength.
and teas as in you get say a 5 gallon bucket, a cup or two of worm castings, maybe mychorrhizae, 30 ml of unsulfurated molasses and water(unchlorinated by normal means, or aerate for 2-3 days prior) . pump it with an airstone for 2 days,(strain it if you want) mix it in on watering days. i liked doing this when i was in organics.

And hey btw, this is the most useful thread ive ever gotten out of /b!

Came here to post this, def looks like you're low on Nitrogen. Could also try some foliar spray if you're worried about overloading on nutes.

I just started mine a week ago, Super Silver Haze, already has 3 sets of leaves and I'm excited to see how she turns out.

Happy growing user!

Ok thanks for the all the tips!

Just you yellowing ones use a bit stronger... bring it back... the one in the middle looks like too much nitrogen....

Id really recomend the promix bx or hp has zero nutrients in it gives you better control.

Id also prune some leafs

If you have an aquarium with fish, or have a friend who does, anytime you (or they) clean out the tank (to switch out the water), use that water to water your plant. It'll have a ton of nitrogen, and any plant (pot or not) you use it on, will love you until the end of time

This is the best book ever ive had it for 5 years has everything

you should look into lollypopping and topping as well to get more uniform growth. so you wont have a bunch of popcorn at the bottom for future grows.

I did some lower branch pruning a couple weeks ago (after the pic i posted)

I did top most of them. Problem was I just started with a handful of good seeds i had lying around from over the years.
I grew a LOT about 15 years ago, but this is my first time since getting back into it since its legal now.
The seeds all sprouted at different times, and i added 2 Grape Soda Chemdog seeds i got from a buddy a couple weeks after the others so the plants are not even close to uniform. All differetn types and different start times

Fan leaves will die when the plant buds

I knew that, it usually happens towards teh end though i thought. And this all happened in about 36 hours

how much did you take off, and how long was it before you switched the timing?

I just took off the majority of the low small stuff to clone. Let them recover for about 8-9 days, then went from 20/4 to 18/6 for acouple days, then went to 15/9 for a day then 12/12

Looks for me like you use way to much water, just give them water every two days and watch what happens

you can clearly see that. because the other plants are hanging too

what's the temp keep in there?

Its either slightly light burned or a nitrogen deficiency

Different guy but I would have switched to 5 gal by flowering time but that's just me

Thats what i do. Every other day. And I only use about a gallon, or a little less for 7 plants. They are usually just starting to wilt when i water and the buckets are light. Im pretty confident its not an overwatering issue

This isn't really about the yellowing but you need to manicure them a little. They are just a bit bushy and I'd be a little concerned about light reaching everywhere it needs

This

yeah space is an issue, wsa planning on 12 plants but a few of the seeds didnt make it. Only have a 4x4 tent

Go hydro, much easier to control the environment.

I did after that pic was taken a few weeks ago.

yeah but much less forgiving from what ive heard. Im just trying to keep it simple and easy.

Understandable and it's not like 3 gallons are horrible just a little cramped. May affect your yield slightly but I doubt it. You should bump up to the 6x6 if you ever get the room

One second OP.
Trying to find my incredibly handy infograph for nutrient leaf blah blah blah

Sorry its a shit resolution.

This book for sure.
Great info. George knows his shit

Question for you guys

Where do you get your seeds? I'd like to take a stab at growing but don't know where to get decent seeds other than cheap mids

Saved and thank you!

My buddy has had great luck with Kannagenetics . net

You considered adding some sidelighting?
