sounds fake but ok

Yes, quite a bit. Trump has restructured the NASA budget in a variety of ways. I told you this the last time you posted it. This is bait. Get rekt.

Well thank God he posted this to an image board to really get the word out there

>I work at Nasa
>But write like a 5 year old

Repost this again OP and I'll fucking castrate you, you silly cunt.

>trump
it was your nigger obama who practically broke nasa down to the state it's in, retard

Attached: obama loosened it.jpg (779x960, 74K)

asteroids barely miss the earth all the time. even if it does hit, I don't give a fuck. I'm ready to die

If by some chance it is true.

We deserve it lmao.

>The sun has shot the asteroid way further than our original predictions.

That bit is my favorite. The person who wrote this needed to come up with a reason for their calculations to be wrong, but didn't know what would be a plausible reason for calculations to be wrong (for future reference, they can just *be wrong,* because calculating the orbits of unknown bodies requires a lot of estimations which you base on measurements, but you're trying to measure something super far away, so your estimations can just be wrong). Knowing nothing about asteroids other than that they come from space, they sat there, staring at the text box, trying to think of other things in space. Hmm.... maybe.... the sun? Yeah, that'll do. Who knows how asteroids work anyway, right?

Yes, Obama increased NASA's budget and directed it where he wanted it. Now, Trump is president. He also increased the NASA budget and is directing it where he wants it, a manned moon mission and orbital monitoring (space force).

The more you know?

shut the fuck up nerd. I hope your the first one obliterated

This is bullshit for so many reasons.

Just what we need. Politicians directing scientific endeavors. Better tell them dumbass scientics what to study huh.

Solar wind may divert an asteroid from its course

Yeah, keep hoping. See you on May 26th when you quickly convince yourself you never believed this anyway. Your life is kind of spent constantly trying to fool others and yourself that you aren't the idiot you actually are, huh?

Even if this is real then we don't know what kind of damage it's going to do, like is a dinosaur extinction kind of asteroid

Attached: 1557008902873.png (448x540, 249K)

Over a dozen asteroids pass by earth at a distance closer to the earth than the moon every year. Like 70% we don’t even see until after they’ve passed by us. We literally don’t have the technology to stop one. So there’s no reason to worry about it. It is kind of weird though that NASA is talking about getting more money to try to stop asteroids in the news lately.

The decline in public research funding under trump has crippled some programs that track and stop diseases that even rich white people get. Hope you've got good insurance and money to pay those premiums! =^)

I do have good insurance because I have a job and I don't rely on handouts.

Don't you love capitalism?

Attached: 1556849435685.jpg (744x732, 81K)

Yes, on a timescale of hundreds of thousands of years. The force of solar wind in Earth's neighborhood, per square meter, is equal to the force you feel in your hand when holding a paperclip, divided by one hundred million. It doesn't *suddenly* divert an asteroid's course.

This

Attached: 1557410635984.jpg (584x153, 27K)

Yup.

Good health is status signaling in America.

LMAO what a faggot

No it's called having a job you basement dweller

Huh?
I won't lie, i've been seeing a shit ton of news articles popping up with bait titles like "HUGE ASTEROID GONNA HIT EARTH!"
Then click them to see it's saying that NASA are actually just doing simulations of it, not that it happens.
Guess I know why now.

ah the old fallback percentage to blurt out when you have no idea what you're talking about

It's never about where the money goes or where the money comes from with people like you. Its just about trump trump trump trump. That's why I value your opinion less than people that actually care about the issues.
And yeah, I have good insurance. I work 65 hours a week, every week. I wouldn't complain about my compensation package.

This always happens and it’s bullshit..
We advanced to a certain point and then either an asteroid, solar winds or asteroids completely fuck us and set us back 5000 years. The few humans who actually manage to survive the following years of darkness due to all the dust and shit kicked up into Earth’s atmosphere basically live off cockroaches because even the fucken plants die due to lack of sunlight.. it rains black shit that you can’t even drink like what happened with Hiroshima.. I’m so fucken over it dude.. same shit different fucken day.. 5000 years from now, humans will start to rebuild again with fuckall technology and they’re gonna find shit like the Eiffel Tower in ruins, wondering how us “early” humans managed to build succ structures with apparently picks and arrow heads.. like seriously man fuck this shit my DNA is so fucken over it!!!! If it’s not this shit, it’s another fucken ice age.. yeah you know? Like the one we just “missed”? Fuck dude I’m sick of being a small human because I want to drill a massive hole into this stupid asteroid cunt and fuck the living shit out of it, I’ll fucken get that cunt pregnant believe that much I swear to god I’ll cum in an asteroid if that’s what it’s gonna fucken take. I ain’t no bitch, give me it’s co-ordinates. I’ll make gravity look like a little fucken bitch, I’ll send you cunts the fucken data and measures of my 3 centremertre cock when I’m skull fucking that stupid asteroid CUNT. Fuck you.

>implying that this is real

look i know this is probably a larp but i'm not even remotely kidding when i say i'm 100% certain i read a story on the BBC website last month saying something about how an asteroid would make a very close pass to earth soon, but i'll be fucked if i can find it. the only reason i remember reading it was because it said asteroid and that it would be visible as a light in the sky moving across the moon or something like that.

That’s not important. What is important is that it’s over. Just do some research yourself. Don’t be salty with me cus we are all gonna die some day

Yes because going underground and ‘stocking up’ would save us from such a devastating asteroid.

STFU nigger

>i kind of half-remember reading something about this somewhere, but i've been looking for literally minutes now and can't find it.
>it's probably a conspiracy.

And we wonder how cults keep getting started.

>A janitor
>Reusable rockets
>Diversity hires
This reeks of poorly thought out bait. Jesus people are dumb.

he could easily see this then make up story or the story is true and these thee rockets are what he is saying they are. personally think this is massive troll but credits for making me check spaceX launch days.

Attached: Screenshot_20190509-163233.jpg (720x1440, 400K)

Cut OP some slack, this bait was written by 12 year olds. I'm impressed simply by there being no spelling errors

Alright ya fat cunt here's the co-ordnance
12N 98S 34E 9W

Alright got my pants down, currently semi-erect. Boys, It’s been a fucken honour. Now if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got a space rock to fuck. Don’t remember me as a hero, I’m just doing what needs to be done. Should I fail, don’t deflect the asteroid and try to throw it off course, but instead incinerate it. Blow it up. I don’t want that asteroid being deflected after I’ve drilled a hole and came inside it because god knows where the fuck that’s going to end up, not keen on a planet inhabited with a species who first germinated from my cum.

I have spoken.

>I work at NASA

Nigger show me one motherfucking dude who work at NASA and tells anyone about it without giving their full job title and the last three projects they worked on.

Nobody ever said, "I work at NASA," and then stop talking.

It's, "I work at NASA as a hydrowaste engineer, I helped design the space toilet and the space sink, we're working on a space bidet now, I think we're making good progress.'

He went on to say that ever since they found out about KW4, the Americans and the Russians have been building two identical spaceships to combat this asteroid.

>to combat this asteroid.

This is fucking too much. You and your forth grade word choices.

"We have begun building the spaceships which will shoot into space to combat the asteroid. It's a very dangerous mission, but it must win."

>thanks to diversity hires we are out of brain power
Almost believed till I realized this is just another right-wing racist shill

No you're right, i saw it too.
There's been a huge outpouring of asteroid news articles the past few months, but most of them refer to them as things that won't happen, only 10% chances of happening and even if they do they're tiny, are only gonna be simulations etc.
I thought i was going mad seeing them so much recently.

Fiction is the only refuge for right-wing racist shills. Reality is full of contradictions to their worldview, but fiction always fits their worldview perfectly. I look forward to hearing the conclusion of this story, where a know-it-all scientist is put in his place by a salt-of-the-earth christian, and the asteroid disaster is averted through prayer. Then the scientist puts down his science book and picks up a bible.

Did you know that gravity exists and gas has mass?

The whole "we're running out of ideas because of diversity hires" bit really sells it.

>almost believed

You wouldn't happen to be one of those ass-mad subhumans, would you?

It's weird though, because in sixteen days, when nothing happens, you won't stop and think, "huh, I guess there was no conspiracy after all." No, you'll just decide that new developments have once again hidden the conspiracy. What a smart person you must be, to be able to see the truth that no one else does. That is the lie that keeps you holding on to the idea of the conspiracy. That's what makes you need for it to be true, because it will mean you're special. But you're not. There is no asteroid coming on the 25th, there is no conspiracy to keep it secret, you're just a sad nobody dreaming about being at the center of something big and important while you wait for the exciting part of your life to start, the part that's never coming.

They'll just scream density and run away

Good luck, you'll need it

Decent idea, garbage execution

The person who created posted that image was doing it ironically, to make fun of the type of person who would post it unironically.

The person who assembled that image from other images and added some text did so ironically, to make fun of the type of person who would assemble it unironically.

The person or people who originally made the images in the pic had no formal education in math or science and has undiagnosed schizophrenia with delusions of persecution and grandeur.

It's trolls trolling trolls trolling trolls, with the stupid and the crazy in the eye of the storm.

kek

>almost believed
Another proof if needed that leftist cucks are gullible as fuck.

Gravity is not scientifically proven to CAUSE anything by experiment.
So You can't have an unproven force negating a natural law. You can't demonstrate gas pressure without a container. You can't show gravity maintaining gas pressure against a vacuum.

Fuck off with your pseudoscience

My favorite part is when he says "gravity is unstable". NASA really must be taking diversity hires seriously if they're now hiring people who have never taken a physics class

You're adorable.
What grade you in, champ?

Lol. Upset because you can't show me a gas system existing next to a vaccum without a physical container? Oh let me guess gravity has been scientifically proven huh?
Someone doesn't seem to know what pseudoscience is

So you don't believe in this so-called "gravity" bullshit, huh?
I guess you're not....
*shades*
falling for it?

hahaha this

>gravity creates a feedback loop that
HAHAHAHAHA
nothing we cant calculate as well idiot

Nope lol. You're welcome to show me any scientific evidence that has proven gravity. So it should follow the scientific method and must me repeatable.

Hey guys, I’m not part of your argument, I read a couple of your comments but I couldn’t be fucked finding the origin of the convo, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I just wanted to ask you both a question, well, it’s more of a proposition really.. Couldn’t both of your theories actually be true given the actual scale of existence (not just our universe) itself? Or at least space? Could it be possible that not only gravity but all laws that govern our universe could be even slightly different elsewhere outside our universe?

Look I know that I missed the start of your convo so I could be going off topic here and for that I apologise, I’m sorry, I was having too much fun. Can’t we all just admit that we got off on the wrong foot here? The name’s user. I’m 5”4 and weigh 130kg but that’s as irrelevant as the Doritos crumbs in my chest hair that more resembles bum fluff so again, allow me to apologise as I have a tendencie to go off topic.. as illustrated by my previous attempts at engaging in a knowledgeable discussion with you both, as if I even come close to possessing the intelligence of such smart anons as yourselves.

Clearly you've never been to Texas.

You have no idea what capitalism is.

Its happening

this

All you Obama blaming Trumptards need to rethink your lives and reevaluate your time on the planet ...If this were true it woul have made every single news station that existed , it would break the internet ....You should be ashamed at how fucking moronically stupid you are for falling for this idiocy Please refer to the aforementioned meme you shit flinging retarded Trumpanzee's

Attached: brain.jpg (240x231, 10K)

lol, get fucked NASA LARPer

>we are attempting to divert the asteroid

Attached: 1487354541428.jpg (697x427, 40K)

So one of the best things about science is that questions starting with, "could it be possible," can almost always be answered, "yes." That's because science is about finding explanations for things we've seen, things we've observed, and no explanation is ever the last explanation; just the best, so far, at explaining the observations made, so far. New explanations can fit observations better than old explanations (even if the old explanations have been the best ones for a long time) and new observations can make an explanation that was the best for a long time no longer seem to be very good.

What you suggest (that physics might be different somewhere else) is worth considering. We shouldn't assume physics is the same everywhere; we should observe, and then see if our observations of far away places fit the physics rules we put together observing stuff closer to home.

We do that, actually. We model other star systems after observing the way the light from the star gets brighter and dimmer over time, and try to explain why it does that. We want to explain it so well that we can predict it, because that's usually a good indicator that we've gotten it right. We assume that other stars could have planets the way ours does. We're not there to check, we just have to make calculations as though they are, and see if we're able to correctly predict things with them. We suppose that the dimming of the star is because a planet is going in front of the star, and by carefully measuring how the star dims and when, we're able to predict the existence of a planet of a certain size and mass and distance from the star, orbiting it at a certain speed.

None of it works if physics doesn't work the same way, but our predictions do work. We're able to correctly predict exactly when and how much a star will dim, by calculating the orbit of the planet we believe exists. This is a strong suggestion that physics works the same in other star systems as it does in our own.

>thanks to diversity hires

Lol, not because NASA's budget has been getting cut for the last decade.

>Elon Musk will save us

LMAO

This was written by a 16 year old.

>I work at NASA
>"shit tons of security"

yeah, ok. Maybe try grammarly to improve your writing, maybe some retards will believe you one day

Attached: images.jpg (225x225, 9K)

God damn this is too real. My most antitrump people I know are late 20s neets who still live at home and have never had a real job in their lives.

>last year we started seeing anomalies with an increase in asteroids"

and "increase in asteroids" makes utterly no scientific sense. An increase in observations? An increase in NE orbit identification? etc, etc. No scientist would write this

>One of them was KW4

(66391) 1999 KW4 has been recorded for 20 years. Its orbit has been closely observed. its closest approach to earth is 5,182,015 km, on May 25th. It will be more than 13 times as far as the Moon.

>space had a mind of its own.

Bullshit. This entire section is nothing but idiotic babble with no bearing to reality.

>it is predicted to go in between the earth and moon, which at that point[sic] would cause the asteroid to slam into Earth

Going between earth and the moon will not cause anything to "slam" into anything. IF it did, it would alter orbit for future passes. dozens of asteroids have passed significantly closer than the moon, or between earth and moon during their perihelion in the last 20 years.

>when we first got wind of KW4

again, (66391) 1999 KW4 was found 20 years ago.

the rest of this post is just plain simple nonsense

this was posted by the asteroid

There's no evidence of this

an asteroid could've posted more intelligent comments than OP's pic.

Sounds like typical Yea Forums trolling bullshit. I remember making one of these threads when the world was "supposed to end" in December of 2012. If not, I really don't care. We need to be obliterated so humans can start over fresh.

>gravity is unstable
Jesus Christ is this guy underage?

I always like pretending these are real and making my own fantasy but this was by far the worst one I've ever seen

We know how to divert asteroids already

Only threat is if we some how dont see it coming

Also if this were true nasa would have to be run by Extremely incompetent people not to use this as a way to secure a fuck ton of funding.
