I think mayhem with dead has much weaker vocals and riffs. Burzum is much more inspired, and darkthrone is much more competent

I disagree, I feel like the songs that were developed around the time Dead was in the band were done way better with him. And my biggest problem with DMDS is that the vocals on that are a lot more lowkey, and feels unbalanced compared to when Dead sang them.
