I reall like the game. The only problem is, i dont really enjoy playing solo and its hard to motivate friends. They mostly stop playing after hardmode/few hm bosses in. Its a real pain. I have almost 500 hours and only defeated the moonloard once.
Too bad they cancelled otherworld btw.

Problem for me i, that i am not really creative. Other people spend 150hours building some houses. Gimme 3k wood and you get a nice shoebox for all the npcs.
