I reall like the game. The only problem is, i dont really enjoy playing solo and its hard to motivate friends. They mostly stop playing after hardmode/few hm bosses in. Its a real pain. I have almost 500 hours and only defeated the moonloard once.
Too bad they cancelled otherworld btw.

Problem for me i, that i am not really creative. Other people spend 150hours building some houses. Gimme 3k wood and you get a nice shoebox for all the npcs.

Yes, tried the three big ones (calamity, thorium, tremor) but i still dont think its as fun as playing it with a mate. Damn i remember when it came out for xbox and i played it with my friend. Damn, those were times.

watching john bain play it as total biscuit really was the seller for me. I played it out of the simplicity and entertainment factor which later became more of a live action attempt to make some plot into it. There simply is no plot in terraria and thats sort of its downfall, not even a mention as to a real world boss, there are just monsters and big events but not main motivator outside of character and base building. Sort of like a 2D diablo but even diablo had quest investigation.

I dont alot really on this map though I had some nice castles and delicate towns with alot of magic style and leaf buildings. Looked great. Had them shaped like bells and stained glass designed to look like flowers and stuff. It got corrupted, but I actually had a wall built one too. Now I am just too lazy.

good game. sunk 150 hours into it back when the game only had 6 bosses and killing Wall of Flesh v2.0 was the end of the game.
tried getting back into it a few times since then but the long grind to get back to where I was only to austically do boring shit like fishing for good enough gear to beat weird hipster bosses sort of puts me off
