nice

i have no passion, i'm not working on anything, i have no plans for life besides not dying yet

I recently came up with an idea to become the manager/boss of a big ass theme park, I'd fucking love that

It's such a cheerful environment you'd be working in but still has a lot of financial challenge, a lot of managerial challenge, etc

And I can't let go of the moment that a new rollercoaster opens in the park and you get to see the local mayor cut the line, and seeing the guests absolutely thrilled to ride it first

Graduate from the college, make it to a university and became land surveyor.

Nothing interesting.

Fi you are doing nothing might as well fuck around, make some music or sign up for human experimentation or rollercoaster tester no?

Improv and table top rpgs.

Currently working on a business to combine them both. As a therapeutic or relaxing moment for patients in hospitals and alternative teambuilding events or stag/hen nights.

Still in an early start up fase but a local hospital is interested and I'm going to run a oneshot try out in june.

My life goal is to be able to make people smile for a living.

Not bad
Seems chill

Find a job.
Leaving my parents basement.
Rent a shithole.
Buy a gun or rope.
Get drunk and kill myself.

Good luck user

Gardening. This is the first year I’ve gotten a plot filled and sprouts grown in time for a decent start. Next year I’m hoping to get chickens and continue building up gardening beds, fruit bushes, etc.

Bare feet in the mud. Sun on your back. Feels good.

Yo that's super cool user!
I hope you make it there!

once you have your park up post it here on Yea Forums so we all could come chill in user's park.

That's really fucking cool user.
Goodluck
Go make people smile.
SOunds like an amazing time.

its all about getting through the day for me its always the same routine i have no more dreams or goals i just work get home and basically do nothing this is my life

I will :)

I am throwing all caution to wind..I am choosing to leave my depressing situation in life (bad city to live in, no work, no money, very little friends) and I'm moving to Mexico to surf, swim, snorkel and perform music.
This dreary city life and these god-awful winters just aren't for me. (I'm in Montreal) It's sucking the life out of me.
I leave at the end of the month to start a new chapter. I'm in my 40's.
Fucking hyped boys....fucking hyped.

Good luck user on your midlife adventure in the south, hope you have a good time there

Mid-life? 3rd life....haha I'm in it for the long run.
Thank you...I am feeling so good about it...so good.
I hope everyone else is working towards their dreams...finding a passion and devoting time to it.

There's no reason we can't all live in our own version of paradise in this life.

>Get a decent job
>Buy my parents a new house

Sounds really chill
What are you growing?

Short term goals: Complete some publications and finally finish my PhD.

Got one life. might as well do something drastic and crazy and turn it around.
you know you will die sad if you let this keep going

Fuckin 100% lost in life right now. Everything I try to do doesnt work out. I keep getting very discouraged and my depression always makes me cry when I'm alone. Getting really fuckin sick of life

programming. Its been my passion for some time now and i love creating stuff because autist. Currently making a game or a youtube video

That's very noble, good luck to you user

I play guitar but I’m trying to make vidyas with my friends in the future using our rudimentary programming & art skills. I also like writing & am pretty good at it :>>

Programming. I would really like to create great software for public healthcare / police / national logistics. In order to save money and lowering the need of taxes

>What are you studying?
Computer science

Either find meaning in life or kill myself. Gotta dream big ya know

How old are you?
I'm asking because I took a CS degree after 30 and I regret it now because I'm still unemployed.

gay are you a pedo??

From what I know you need to do research for PHD
Are you researching anything interesting
(Don't say if this could dox you)

We are Complex Systems made from atoms with the intention of reproducing and keeping the system going.
However, we evolved to have conciseness and awareness, so we could expend our meaning beyond staying alive and reproducing.

TLDR
Live the moment,Do Things you like doing
and make sure your keep living, improving, and fucking bitches.

I'm turning 33 this year.

Well, "research" means publishing papers in academic (peer-reviewed) conference proceedings and journals. I have a couple of publications, but I need one or two more.

The level of actual "research" could be discussed, in my honest opinion it's more an engineering solution, but there is some novelty to it. We have essentially created a mechanism for decoupling devices (GPUs, NVMe drives, network cards etc) attached to the PCIe fabric from the hosts they reside in and allow remote systems (interconnected with PCIe) to use those devices. The kicker is that the devices appear to the remote system as if it is locally installed, which massively simplifies applications programming.

Be a hero

That's pretty neat
Are you competing against any other researchers for this or are you the only people around working on this?

What kind?

We're pretty much the only ones doing this (including the PCIe-based interconnect). The company I'm working for (with originally, and then later got hired by) have boosted their revenue quite a bit by making a product out of it, which is nice. Of course, ideally I'd wish that the solution was a bit more generic. It is possible for others to implement, and we do use standard components in our hardware, but no one else is using the capabilities of our the components the way we do.

Nuevoputo.

Your research is already being implemented into products?! Damn.Congrats pleya.
How big's your team? Do You see this integrating into the public any time soon?

Boxing and school are my goals
I want to be a pro boxing and go to college

Attached: 1554988776720.jpg (248x204, 11K)

Slowly working through some security work, losing weight and saving up for a 2 week trip to Japan at the end of the year

God knows if it's ever going to happen but it's my goal ATM

(also slowly putting together a HEVC media library for my Kodi boxes which is taking forever but it's keeping me busy)

Thanks. The company has 9 developers (5 software+firmware devs [including me], 3 hardware+firmware guys and the CTO), but it's mainly me and another person working on stuff related to my research.

>Do You see this integrating into the public any time soon?
Depends on what you mean by this. It's available (as a product) today, but if you mean other people adopting a similar approach then I don't think that will happen in a while (simply because we are the only company that make this kind of interconnect for clusters).

That being said, I have some published some software including an userspace NVMe driver library that is being used by other people and that can be useful without our hardware and software stack, and a couple of companies have approached me regarding it and given me job offers which always feels nice.

Underage b&

Child porn

My passion is calling you a faggot

Wow what a loser.

I'm 32. I don't have any anymore. I make good money and live day to day. Everything's fine.

Is your work your passion?

Broke up with my gf of 4 years last week. Shits been so rough. I have class with her, so we got lunch together after.
>Told me how she finally notices guys hitting on her, and how 4 guys have hit on her since we broke up.
>Also told me how she's gotten high 3 times since last week (she never smoked weed before)
>I'm also trying not to KMS so that's nice.

Fucking dope
(again, don't dox yourself, you don't have to answer)
What's the product name/Company?

Can't answer that without doxxing myself. I don't mind doing that on /g/, but Yea Forums is different.

Nigga you 32
Go do something cool

Fair
Maybe one day we'll meet there
It was nice chatting with you pleya!
Goodluck with your work and the PHD.

Thanks :)

I desperately want to be a professional actor and yet i can't let go of my slave job working at a bank which takes up all my time and energy. I plan to use the job to save up money for 3 years and then quit and focus solely on acting. But in the interim the job is draining me of happiness. And i feel like I'm just wasting time.

Don't have a real passion. I like chemistry but wouldn't consider it a passion. Maybe archiving knowledge or guns

Yo that's cool
I get it. waiting sucks .You should make yourself an acting practice each day to make you look forwards to the end of the day.
Get some friends too. make shorts films with them for 2-3 hours each day or a few time a week.
You could have something to keep you going and become better while you are at it
Go become a great actor.

Chemistry is a non physical work. So if you are passionate about it might as well go to school for it. and live out the rest of your life as a chemist.
You could enjoy chemistry till you breath your final breath.

most of the time i'm too scared to even leave the house, experiments or rollercoasters would freak me out beyond my imagination
i will stay in my cave

Thanks for the pep talk man, i have to remember what I'm trying to accomplish here.

got one life pleya might as well go out of your comfort zone

If not... you can always go for calm things that are for sitting down like painting or testing videogames

Cheers
Goodluck user.
