shiitake

personally prefer king oysters or shiitake ... so much more versatility

but a nice deep fried morel, or sautted with some garden peas and butter is nice ... i think if we had morels year round youd get sick of em... i kinda dislike the 'year round' produce availiability for that... you get weaker products part of the year and when the good time of year pops up its not as exciting as it used to be. "the thrill is gone!!!"

hallucinogenic

what in the fuck

Ever ate one plain? They have absolutely no flavor whatsoever.

The head of my dick

Those taste like ass. Retard

There is no better mushroom than morels. I hike a lot at this time of year, looking for ramps and morels.

Chanterelles are delicious as well, but I can't find them in my area. Tastes like sucking off a carpenter.

I like morels and hunt when in season. But honestly portabella mushrooms are best imho.

I agree 100%. Stop serving me strawberries in January.

Anything that isn't a mushroom is better.

These fuck my guts.

Prefer Maitake surely. I give pounds of chicken if the woods away every year.

Chanterelles

Not sure where you live but towards the end of the summer chanterelles are pretty easy to find on mossy leaf littered ground.
