Literally every thread has the same exact shit posted in it, and they'll even post every single album from a band... It's like "Ok, we get the fucking point, you like Megadeth, you don't have to post every single album, literally everyone on the planet is aware of them"
Not really, because I have a tried and true formula. If the band has some 'cutesy' band name, they're trash. If the band name has a female's name anywhere in it, they're trash. If any of the band members have dreadlocks, they're trash. If the band's albums have pastel pinks, purples, and blues, it's trash. It's never let me down.

I normally agree to that formula, which is why giving Slice The Cake a chance was a leap for me. Their first album was pretty decent but nothing to write home about, and then I listened to Odyssey to the West and it’s really fucking good. I’m a sucker for good storytelling in music, and this album hit so many things for me. If you were to listen to any song by them I’d say youtu.be
But yes generall if they’ve got a really stupid name typically the band is just not going to be any good, like iwrestledabearonce.

First, nice trips. Second, I can’t really convince you to give it a shot. I just think if you’re not going to even give it a chance then there’s no point in talking shit. Like, I KNOW I don’t like specific bands because I listened to their stuff, and yeah generally if they’ve got a weak name they’re gonna suck. All I can say is this album was an exception I’m willing to make.
