It's a wind scorpion. It's mostly harmless.

camel spider, not venomous but that shit hurts.

Interesting. It came to our fire and we poked it with a stick.
I'm going to tell her this means I'm right though, it's not a spider.

You're a lonely person aren't you

Sand niggers call them camel spiders. In the U.S. we call them vinegaroons.

Here's what a sandfly can do.

underrated

Are those bot flies?

It's not a spider, but you're also wrong. It is an arachnid, and only has 8 legs. The front two "legs" aren't really legs. They're pedipalps.

K but she's more wronger than me

Hey OP I'm a huge fucking autistic for arthropods so lemme give you the lowdown
That's a solifugid aka camel spider
They're an arachnid. They have no venom, and cannot make you sick unless you are specifically allergic to them their bites, however, are strong enough to pierce skin. They like the dark, hence the name (solifugid means fugitive of the sun). If you want it to leave you alone just make sure the room is well lit.

This beat me to it.:

Clearly I was not in a room I was outdoors.
Also from my searches since this thread I've learned they are attracted to light sources at night. Which is why it came to my fire.
