fuck that genetics bullshit. nearly everyone above me in my family tree is fat. but me and all my siblings and cousins are thin as fuck. its called having a decent diet and not consuming shit
In memory of
Genetics does play a role. Most often in where fat is placed, and what fat burns first, etc. It does NOT cure hunger. It does NOT create the ultimate survivable human. If you are not counting your calories you're lying to yourself.
Are you telling me that if you were thrown into the wilderness you'd magically stay 236lbs if all you could bring in a day is 1000 calories? Horse shit. That's not how energy works.
Wow... you know NOTHING about genetics.... and in the year 2019...
Let me add a new word to your vocabulary that is plastered all over genetics research; variability.
Then you have 236 pounds of shit, mate. Because there is no way you're doing cardio every day and taking in 1000 calories and staying 236 pounds. You're lying to me and to everyone in this thread and you know it. You are having a cheat day with 4000+ calories. The math doesn't add up.
No, he'd die. Wow, this thread is obviously not attracting even semi-intelligent people.
And what about the opposite? There's no denying there are people who can consume 5,000+ calories a day, sit on their ass all day and still never gain a pound.
Are they wizards?
It's called METABOLISM btw.
Can't we just talk about the shaming or bullying of people for crying?
It's so sad. Nobody cries for no reason, and crying is human natures way of signalling for help.
... to then be made fun of by some assholes.
First of all, you cannot go solely on a single day. You have to look at the long term, usually over several weeks and months as weight loss and weight gain are slow processes.
If bob takes in 3500 calories Monday, and 1200 calories the rest of the week, he's probably leveling out depending on how much he weighs.
You have a maintenance. That's how many calories you must take in a day to stay the same weight. If your maintenance is 2500 calories a day, and you start taking in 2000, you will begin to lose weight. That doesn't mean you take in 2000 for 5 days, then 3000 for 2 days! You must be a net loss in calories on a consistent basis. The human body isn't an infinite energy machine. It cannot sustain energy without consumption.
You fat people claiming you eat only 1000 calories a day and do cardio is like me saying I drive 3 hours a day and only fill up my gas tank once a month. HORSE. SHIT.
My brother eats like a food addict EVERY single day and for 20+ years, he's 140lbs.
He literally eats several pounds of food a day, and pizza and steak and onion subs and entire bags of doritos and all sorts of fast food.
Oh and he drinks probably 10 mountain dews EVERY DAY.
If you don't know someone like this, (these people aren't very rare, about 2 in 10) then Yea Forums really is where the basement dwellers go on the internet.
