The US is the leading country in medical advancement. This is for one reason, becuase we charge people for the cure and make loads of money doing so. Even the most niche disease can now be profitable and worth curing as long as there is someone out there willing to pay for it. Those countries can only have universal healthcare because someone else is essentially paying for those cures for them: America. If America did this we would stop advancing medically.
