Lived in the tropics all my life.
You don't need a fucking hat or sunshades if you under 40. Your young eyes and thick hair do just fine on their own.

The hat is fine on its own but I wouldn't wear it with the rest of that outfit. If you're going to wear accessories you should be more intentional about your color coordination, otherwise you look a bit immature

You're gay if you wear one but they are really useful for indicating the weak ones in your group....always wearing a hat and sunglasses? fucking fader right there, will buckle and fail under pressure.

Even in the desert they are only useful for a few hours either side of midday, never required in extreme Northern and Southern Latitudes because the sun is always on the fucking horizon and not above you.

At extreme latitudes in summer I need to use sun block on my skin, in winter I can stay in the sun all fucking day and not need sunblock. The angle of the sun makes a huge difference to the amount of UV exposure you will get.

Please no pansy ass Americans reply to this thread, what you guys know about living in the wild is worth less than nothing.
