I would say that smart people score high on iq tests however that doesn't mean that scoring high on an iq test means you are smart. for example the first time i took one of those online mensa iq tests where you have to find autistic patterns i scored like 125. but since then i took various (free) online iq tests and now i usually get 135+. so you can definitely "train" to get better at them but that doesn't mean you are getting more intelligent.

Theyre a rough indication of how good someone is able to score on an iq test.
Generally, smart people will s ore higher, but that doesnt mean all smart people score high or all dumb people score low.
The tests are also heavily biased towards certain countries, enviroments and status due to the creators.
Even things like moods weather and time of day heavily influence them and theyre way overvalued in todays society.
I got 121 on an official one with a test taker and timers, the tests generally mean fuckall

I have tested highly on IQ tests throughout my life but honestly they seem pretty thin indicators of intelligence in many areas. Historically they were pretty biased towards people who were part of the social in-group and of course that's what some point to when disparaging their fellow humans.
The other thing too is that you can improve or lower your IQ scores on these tests so they seem pretty useless to me.

Even an official IQ test is a loose guess at your intelligence at best, and honestly the way it's used by people to try and say that black people are dumb as well as complete mongoloids taking it to mean they are clever means it's probably caused more harm than good.
For what it's worth, I have scored 149 in a controlled IQ test but there's no fucking way I'm as intelligent as believers in the meme would have you believe. I had a good day and the questions went my way, coupled with the fact that as an upper middle class white British dude It's literally a test written for me to well in. It's fucking meaningless.

Read "The Bell Curve" a summary of the results of a very careful IQ study by Murray and Hernstein. Bottom line: blacks as a group test lower than whites, even when things like income, culture, home life, etc ( all the left-excuses ) have been compensated for.

that's a fair bias, math ability is very strongly correlated with intelligence
of the people that go "oh, that's a math problem, i don't know math", VERY few of them are geniuses. VERY few. high intelligence lets you follow the rigid logic of math and not be intimidated by it. people try and resist this fact so that they feel better about being NPCs, but math is essential to intelligence.

I did an IQ test in the UK two years ago, from what I recall there weren't any explicit mathematical questions (e.g. 61x47).
The only time I can remember numbers being used really was where you had to remember a sequence of numbers, potentially rearranging them (e.g. highest to lowest, only mentioning even numbers or whatever).
