I used to smoke a lot of hash. My preferred method was showed to me by my arab colleague. I don't know the proper name for it, he just called it the Egyptian way. It's a super simple, effective and economic way of smoking hash.

You need:
>A cigarette
>A glass, no wider than a cigarette in diameter
>A makeshift lid
>Medium soft hash

What you do:
>Rip the cigarette so that it can be placed across the glass and stays put
>Make a little hole in the middle of the cigarette
>Roll the hash into a stick
>Light it up so that it glows (light on fire for like two seconds then blow it out)
>Stick it in the cigarette
>Place cigarette in glass
>Put lid on top of glass
>Watch the smoke build up inside the glass
>Inhale through your nose if you call yourself a man

No need to mix with tobacco. You can use the same cigarette many times over. If you're a tobacco smoker, patch up the holes and smoke the cigarette to make use of that oil.

the high is much different because of the tobacco and the entire high is shorter but more intense

Pro tip: Angle the stick a little to the sides. If it's facing straight down it tends to get soft from the heat and might drip down.

It's just a convenient holder. Maybe a paperclip would suffice? It burns all the way up, so the paperclip will get burnt, so I'd make sure it's not coated with some nasty shit.

Efficiency, too, yes. Cigarette soaks up some oil and the last tip of the hash, so you'll either wanna dig it out or smoke the cigarette.
It's not great to mix hash and tobacco, dependency-wise. But most hash smokers mix it with tobacco anyway, so really this is a comparatively tobacco-scarce method.

i usually mix the weed with the bacch until it's a gummy single consistency so that it doesn't all just burn up at once

if you have any kief stockpiled up, it works much better if you mix it with the batch so you get a more consistent flame

the problem is that the weed wants to burn up instantly while the tobacco tends to cherry for a long time, which makes shisha so fun to sit around and toke for awhile

there's an increased heartrate kind of feel, along with the straight headrush that comes along with high nicotine

it's a fun way to consume weed- if i was only ever smoking for efficiency's sake, i'd only ever be hitting concentrates in a vaporizer
