currently in navy, 4 years in, 2 years left. every single day i wish i would have joined the air force, and everyone i work with says the same. who cares if everyone shits on them, they get all the same benefits, all the same technical training and quality of life is better by tenfold. talking about going to foreign countries is fun, but in reality you’re treated like a child with all these fucking rules and zones, you’re constantly paranoid about getting in trouble and it affecting your career and life, but all you want to do is let loose since you’ve been stuck on a floating prison for 30+ days. just save up and travel on your own dime if you want to so bad. some cute girls, but a 4/10 in the real world is a 9/10 in the navy, and you won’t stand a chance. all the others are lesbians, which is most. army & marines are out of the question, america is not worth dying for.
