Lucas created Star Wars, and ultimately is Star Wars. It's similar to how Indiana Jones was the creation of both Lucas and Spielberg, and without those two influencing it, or at least Spielberg, who had more to do with it than Lucas did, it would not be the same. I've written Nu-Wars off.

Every new blockbuster these days is one of the highest grossing films of all time, inflation is the reason.

Many people liked it and many did not, but the audience reviews were incredibly negative initially and it was not due to review-bombing, that was another face-save.

The only reason why I don't hate star wars is because captain dave marciano is love it.

The Last Jedi was enjoyed more thoroughly and by more people than Shindler's List, 12 Years a Slave, The Godfather , or whatever art house hipster shit you might think is the greatest film ever made.
