I recently swore in to the Navy and I ship out in a a couple months. I know there is some information I need to memorize before boot camp to not look like an idiot when I get there. My recruiter was supposed to supply me with the info to study but he's hard to get a hold of. Can any Navy Yea Forumsros give me a link and/or tell me what things I should be studying to prepare for boot camp?
You can check out YouTube there are videos of recruits first day in boot camp for the Navy

shipping august 19th. did mens not give you a START guide? the liaisons are required to give you a booklet.
Brody Allen
fuck, no, I hate my life
Benjamin Foster
You don’t need to study shit. Be physically fit and your all good. Everything else you’ll learn there
Levi Hall
youre going to look like an idiot no matter what. thats the point. that said general orders and sailors creed. but youll be studying it everyday so it doesnt really matter
Asher Perez
I'm in the AF, but I have friends in all branches and some shit never changes. If you want to have any hope of surviving you need to stop being such a pussy. The military is by and large grossly incompetent and this ESPECIALLY extends to everyone who will ever be in charge of you. Do shit on your own and don't bitch about not getting a pamphlet because nobody gives a fuck about you. Also, fuck pamphlets and fuck studying you're not even a fucking boot yet and yet you're acting like a boot. Nobody cares if you know anything when you get there, they're going to yell at you no matter what because that's the point and by the time you get out you're gonna be a brainwashed little faggot for a few months until it fades and you can finally start slacking with the rest of us. At the absolute MOST I would learn the sailors Creed and be able to recognize ranks. That's all you really need to know, and shit even if you don't know it when you get there you'll learn quick when Chief is in your face screaming it
Jack Bennett
Alright there are 5 things you must know really. everything else is irrelevant. google these:
1. RTC Maxim
2. The Eleven General Orders of the Sentry (yes memorize them all, all 11 of them word for word.)
3. Honor, Courage, Commitment (don't google, this is the slogan for the navy and many answers are within these three words.)
4. Sailors creed. (word for word.)
5. The Chain of Command. (from the president all the way down to Recruit duty Commander.)
Xavier Mitchell
Just remember where the fuck barrel is and when it's your turn to get in it and you'll be fine
Colton Garcia
>stop being a pussy >in the AF lol
Isaac Cox
this is half true, but being physically fit in the navy has more cons if you dont have the general information needed memorized. if not, then goodbye to your Evals and tank your enlisted process.
Ayden Miller
When you get to your first command, watch out for the mafia.
Michael Jones
YOU CAN'T KILL WHATS ALREADY DEAD, IT'S TIME TO JOIN THE BEST DISCORD SERVER THE WORLD HAS EVER FUCKING SEEN!
General orders, sailors creed and chain of command. These will give you an edge but really doesn't matter
Sebastian Martinez
The flip mafia? I was supply. I know all about those sneaky bastards.
Samuel Long
dude boot camp is so funny sometimes. some of those rdc's should be fucking stand up comedians the way they fucking roast people. be prepared to see a lot of niggers fail their swim test multiple times too. shit is hilarious
Liam Hill
Seriously lmao.
You a jarhead?
Ethan Martin
also rank recognition. easy stuff. Officers are pretty rarely seen (especially in the NMCBs) But stripes are your seamen, eagles with chevrons are petty officers which are E-4 thru E-6.
Chiefs are E7 and up to E9 those are anchors with stars.
Hunter Clark
Add rank recognition to that. Officer and enlisted emblems.
Sebastian Bell
Yes, they can really fuck people over. I happen to be on their good side and as a result got hooked up with orders not on CMS.
Camden Sanchez
Months and months in the middle of the sea with a bunch of other guys? Better start learning how to suck a cock, user
William Wood
yeah sorry bout that. I know in my command its a lot different. Never stepped foot on a ship in my life and its ironic because we are in the navy lmaooo. Also what is everyones rate? SW1 here
Colton Stewart
ive fucked many navy sloots. gays are fairly rare.
Jackson Morgan
lmao, got any good stories or example roasts?
Luis Martin
Emn2 ss
Cameron Gutierrez
What did you sign up as? Rate?
Nathaniel Morris
My RDCs made us run around the compartment with our scivvies around our heads. yelling "my skivvies are smarter than me." then drop down and scrub the floor and head with a toothbrush and neutral floor polish.
Julian Gonzalez
how's the sub life?
Jason Phillips
AV but I'm doing PST tests for Air Rescue Swimmer
Sebastian Rodriguez
Find a paper copy of the Bluejackets' Manual on the web or a bookstore if you know 10% of that book you will be a god.
T. Retired CPO
Ethan Stewart
You don't need to know anything although it could be helpful to memorize you SSN if you don't know it already, could save the yelling at I got when you first arrive, everything you have a chance to learn there. If you want to study more go ahead but it makes no difference in the end nobody gives two shits if you were a good recruit in boot camp once you are out in the fleet.
Jayden Parker
What was the process of becoming a nuke like?
Jason Turner
You know every boat is integrated right, even most of the subs I believe now
Aaron Reyes
>in the AF >calling other people puss is
If you're not a 1A or one of the battlefield careerfields, you should ditch that mentality. No ody thinks maintainers/corporate jockeys/desk warriors are badasses.
Sebastian Ross
>probably a civvy or nasty girl el em ay oh air force jokes
Benjamin Miller
>Leftists can't meme >Leftists can't troll >Leftists can only fail.
learn2readingcomprehension He's a pussy because he's complaining about a fact of life and getting all worried about boot camp, not because he's not a raven
Kayden Adams
Former AT2 (AW), here. Honestly bro, I didn’t have anything memorized before boot. I worked at six flags pretty much until the day before my flight to Great Mistakes. I did fine, and so will you. The only leg-up I had over a lot of my shipmates at the time was having been in JROTC throughout high school. ARMY JROTC. I did get advanced to E3 when I got there, but it didn’t matter because when you’re a recruit you don’t know shit and you’re treated like you don’t know shit all the way through service week. Navy boot is only 8 and a half weeks, and all you really need to know is how to swim and be good at following directions and organizing a locker. Nobody studies for boot, dude. You will flail until you find a rhythm. If you have more than a few brain cells to rub together, and you’re not undesignated, you’ll be fine. “A” school is where the shit gets hard.
Shitty until you get qualified but not too terrible after that if you have nothing going on outside of the navy. People with families sometimes have to be away from them for 6 months
Cameron Garcia
It sucks. It's not as bad as people make it out to be if you have a good mindset but a lot of people couldn't deal with the workload and just got out. The power school curriculum changed since I went through so I'm not sure how it is anymore but for me A school was the hardest, power school was a joke and prototype was also pretty easy if you could deal with the 84 hour work week

Question for miltiary Yea Forumsros If theres a military base near me, is there a good chance my gf will fuck the soldiers stationed there? Looking to let my gf service them
Literally nothing matters that you study for in boot camp. Navyfag here and i can whole heartedly say youre going to hate your fucking life, youre gonna go through boot, get brainwashed, go thru a-school, maybe C school, go to a boat and find out the fleet is a fucking meatgrinder of shitty toxic leadership and degenerates who stayed in for life because they wouldnt be hired anywhere near a real job in the civillian world. The light will fade from you, and you will drink. A lot. More than likeley become an alcoholic and marry your boat boo.
This. As long as you have half a brain you'll do fine without studying for it. I'd be in decent physical shape to make things easier but even if you're not they'll get you in shape
Bentley Johnson
They'll fuck her.
Gabriel Long
will it be difficult? do you know how we should go about it?
I mean... Yeah. That's pretty much it right there.
Nolan Hill
this
Benjamin Taylor
Very few subs have females on them and the ones that do are mostly officers. I think 3 or 4 subs support female enlisted(separate berthing, heads, etc.) A lot of the females I went to a school with wanted to and volunteered for subs but none of them got selected.
Angel Flores
I feel personally attacked
Justin Harris
Try a bar or something near the base or just go near the base and get on tinder. Should not be hard at all
Alexander Hall
Just go to a bar nearby It really isn't hard
Gavin Gray
Take her to a Marine barracks, we'll fuck anything with a hole
Hunter Reed
Need more pics. You know, for... um.... latrine duty... yeah.
Thomas Sanchez
retired here. it's gonna suck and be a giant cluster fuck, but I tell you what, buckle down and take it and you too can sit in your undies in your mid 40's getting high every single day and not have to pay taxes. . . the bennies are worth it man.
Currently in the USMC My lucky ass gets to go on a field op next week. The Airforce guy above me is also pretty correct, memorize rank structure and the “sailors creed” (whatever the fuck that is) Don’t get caught up on small shit, focus on being a effiecent and good person, have felixible intelligence, memorization of things will only get you so far. Also be aware of how the navy operates, I was on a MEU and it was pretty shitty living conditions, and the sailors have it worse, because theu are on the ships MUCH longer, they have back to back deployments pretty much. Just be ready to have alot of your assumptions proven wrong.
Owen Evans
Your recruiter is probably busy finding more chums to join the boat parade
