The issue is that if you've done any actual study in the anthropological field, you would know that the majority of times people's DNA is closer to people from vastly different areas than they originally believed. The statement that "race is biological" is not incorrect from a social point of view, but from a scientific. This individual claim is a large point of contention from people outside that specific field of study, though, so it is often misrepresented on both sides of the media.
