It isn't that they've given us all a bad name, cause that would've happened anyway (the dumbass boomers in power need something to blame, after all), it's that they're a bunch of so-called "white" raidfags spewing out an endless stream of ethnicity/identity bullshit that no one really cares about much (with regards to their retarded asses). Not only this, they don't ever do anything productive or noteworthy, aside from existing. What has Yea Forums done? Solved mysteries like we're the fucking Mystery Machine, share porn, share pirated shit, actually cooperate with each other, etc. What has /pol/ done? Flame war endlessly between themselves about estranged conspiracy theories, identity politics... hell, I would have included internet raiding, but they hardly ever participate in that shit, either, it's mostly Yea Forumsrothers that participate in raids. They're a bunch of pseudointellectual cucks, who's 'red-pilled' """cOMMuniTiES""" make idiots out of themselves on a regular basis. And yeah, I get it, all online communities change very fast, and /pol/ is one of those changes (that's long overstayed its welcome), but that doesn't change the fact that they're a bunch of dumbshits who've ruined the names of shitposting (a concept formalized for the world by none other than Yea Forums), Yea Forums, and the Yea Forums board. So, yeah, I was wrong on one thing, /pol/ has done some things, mainly drive this place into the ground. I know there will be some /pol/tards in the thread discussion, calling me a "libtard" or "jew" or whatever, but I'm not wrong, and frankly that'll just reinforce my point.

Nah, it won't be some big event like you think it will be. This site will go out in a whimper, not a bang. The extreme toxicity from /pol/ will eventually drive away too many newcomers from the entire site, and the community will be stagnated with it's old members, sort of like what happened with old BBSs and newsgroups
except mentioned bbss and newsgroups didn't die because of toxicity, they just fell out of style due to better networks/communities
i'm not really expecting it to be a big bang. within the community i think it'll be a shit storm, but from an outside perspective it'll be nothing more than a puff of smoke.
