True story. About a week after we got out first VCR and an account with the local rental shop, I came home late one evening to find the TV missing from the front room. Now bear in mind this was late 80's, and the TV's were fucking huge CRTs that weighed at least 25kg.

I thought we'd been burgled, but it wasn't until I ventured upstairs that I realised that my dad had hauled the TV & VCR upstairs so he & my mum could watch porn in bed.
