Pay your taxes?
Pay your taxes?
All my work is cash in hand so I don't get taxed on it.
no
Must be nice being a hooker.
Yeah, a $7.80 refund.
God bless trump lol fucking dolt
My income didn't change, my taxes withheld didn't change. But my cut was less but almost 2k.
My uncle owed 3k and still won't say trump was a mistake
Ask your mother.
i did in like january
got a pretty decent refund but then i lost my job and used it up by the time it took me to find a new one. but it's a better job than the one i was working, and i didn't go under so i'm thankful
Nah, can’t afford to. I’m barely above poverty now with the pay cut I got this year, and can’t afford $3-4K in taxes.
Scratch that, I’m below poverty level thanks to my pay cut.
what taxes?
Your employer isnt witholding the right amount.
It increased again this year buckle up
That doesn’t add up. If you are at the lowest income brackets you get money back and people who are in higher income brackets have to pay. I’ve been on both ends
That will catch up with you if you own anything of real value
I’m a 1099 employee with $0 expenses I can write off.
I have the self employment tax to pay plus no withholdings since I’m a 1099 instead of W2.
I doubt you’ve been in this situation.
I live a relatively simple life and am always on the move. One day I'll settle down and get a proper job but until then the government can go fuck itself.
If you're in the US and fucking around with taxes, good luck. The IRS always gets paid. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but the long green dick of the U.S. Treasury will eventually fuck you in one way or another, and it will probably involve paying what you owe for however many years you didn't file returns anyway, plus whatever penalties are assessed. Under-reporting or concealing assets, on the other hand, is fraud and you will go to jail when (not if) they catch you.
If you can't afford to pay for whatever reason, file your fucking return and work out a payment plan/hardship arrangement. Do not fuck your credit up with a federal tax lien, or worse, a levy where they just take what you own (property, vehicles, etc.).
That’s not the way taxes work. You’re liable for taxes on your income, no matter what form it comes in.
Good goys.
just mailed it yesterday.
Enjoy your years worth of back taxes when you do
I’m essentially in that situation. You do at least get the standard deduction. But, yeah, if you really have no business expenses then itemizing deductions isn’t going to do better than that. (unless you gave a ton to charity or something).
Fucking idiot
About 2 months ago. Between paying federal and a state refund, I owed about $8
How would they prove I had any income?
It's not plausible that you were supporting yourself on $0, so you had money coming from somewhere. Your employer probably keeps records, that's how people usually get found out.
I do not have an employer. I bum around and do cash in hand work. I do not even have a permanent residence. I'll just claim I was homeless.
I claimed a few hundred million dollars of real estate losses 10+ years ago which has saved me from paying any taxes since.
But get this, I still own all the real estate and I'm a multi-billionaire now.
You should try claiming your crusty anime fuck pillow as a dependent
Nice projecting.
Yeah but if you bought anything or had any sort of bank account there's a good faith basis to assume you earned at least what you spent. You're not the first person to try that, and probably not the last.
As I've already said, I lead a simple life. No bank account, all cash transactions and very little in the way of belongings. They won't be able to prove anything.
Point and laugh at the "sovereign citizen", everyone.
I don't even know what one of those is.
My charity givings are never to 501(c)(3) organizations, so it’s never a write off.
Glad to meet you, I’m the Pope.
Interest you in a Golden stairway to Heaven?
Do you make under $12k? If so, you're fine.
If you make over $12k and think you can outsmart the federal government and its endless resources, best of luck to you!
Probably. I don't keep track.
