2006 Dodge Durango

Urban Fossicated Oscillator

God I miss my Saab. It was a 2005 9-3 Arc in nocturne blue with the parchment color interior. Was a quick little car. Then some faggot kid ran a red light and t-boned me, totaling the car. I'd buy another one but, honestly, as much as I loved that car, I paid a small fortune just maintaining it. I don't know... I'm still considering buying another.

Thank god..
Nice ride man. C10 dude here. 460? Or FE

The Marquis has a 429 and the 250 has the 460.
9mpg from both vehicles while gas is $1.56 feels bad man

Whatttt? Gas is $3.00 a gallon for 93 octane where I live. Drive my c10 everywhere. It gets 12? Idk the speedo doesn't work anymore.

Yeah, feels Canadian gas prices, man.
I assume you have a 350 in the C10? Stock or have you done any work to it?

All I've done to the 429 is a holley, Edelbrock intake and new valve stem seals.

Yeah it's a 350, .030 over. It's not stock though. Aluminum heads, big cam, headers, 750 Holley. The works. It's a lot of fun. I'd upload a pic but they're all too big. It's got a 5/7 drop and 22s

Once you actually put your hands on the engine after owning an American car you will see how much you can appreciate over engineering. Maintenance is mostly done under the hood rarely have to disassemble anything to do repairs. They make it simple to check and change fluids. Would never go back to an American car.

I like to add the e90 is used as police cars in Europe. Not sure if it's just cause it's a e90 but definitely a great car.

Nigger I'm a fucking mechanic and you're telling me a car company that Doesn't even put an oil dipstick in some of their cars makes it simple to check and change fluids?
Oh and I suppose the "Sealed for life" transmissions are also an easy thing to change the fluid on? Oh and Waterpumps that commonly fail and end up causing a blown head gasket is so over engineered.
I guess you also enjoy overpriced oil changes and the retarded design that is wheel bolts instead of studs?

I do all the maintenance myself. If you own a Euro car you gotta be prepared to do stuff like that. You can add an aftermarket dipstick but I must say the electronic works just fine. You can easily do a coolant and power steering flush from under the hood. Plus oil filter is on the top of the engine.

Can't even say American cars are better when they ripp off European design ideas lol

Those E90's with the N51/N52 are super easy to work on.

I'm getting a used 2016 M235i which has the N55 engine. It has 29k miles on it and it's going for around $29k. What are the things to look for in keeping it in the best condition?

Lada . the azeri life suck .

the 1993 ford taurus, the car for the modern age

They are if you take care of them. I’ve got an 2002 X5 now, with 256k miles in it. Buddy of mine has one with over a million miles. About my third BMW, just the one that’s stuck around the longest from people texting and driving. Can’t miss that big bastard. BMW can make a solid straight six, even their V12 are decent. Just don’t touch the V8’s or V10 unless you want to spend ALOT of time working on them.

>2016 M235i
They improved on the n54 which is known as the German rb26 (rb26 is a Nissan motor) so id say you should be good n platform engines are the best to have for having a BMW.

Watch for oil leaks usually happen on top of the engine because of how the engine is sitting in the car. Just maintenance power steering, oil and coolant you should be golden as long as you own the car.
